Osaka Castle is a 1931 concrete reconstruction of Hideyoshi's fortress with a museum inside and a moat and park worth an hour; Kuromon market is the food market; Shinsekai is the retro district under Tsutenkaku tower; Umeda Sky Building has the open-air observatory. Osaka is the base for day trips to Nara, Kobe, Himeji and Koyasan, all under an hour and a half. The city is louder and cheaper than Kyoto and its people are known for it.

Malgré des explications manquantes pour trouver le restaurant (le nom du restaurant aurait été un vrai plus); nous avons passé un super moment. Un vrai régal pour les papilles et pour les yeux de voir la chef cuisiné comment un spectacle. Son anglais impeccable nous a permis de lui poser nos questions sur le boeuf de Kobé et la cuisine. Quant au boeuf, il est à la hauteur de sa réputation, c'est excellemment bon.
