Best Time to Visit Dubai: Month by Month, and the Two Weeks to Avoid
November to March is the answer, and inside that window there are meaningful differences.
November and March are the shoulders: warm rather than hot, around 25 to 30C, and the best value of the good season. December to February is the peak — comfortable, occasionally cool enough for a jacket in the evening, and priced accordingly. Hotel rates over Christmas and New Year can be triple the same room in October.
April and October are transitional. Still pleasant in the morning, uncomfortable by mid-afternoon, and a good compromise if the dates are fixed.
May through September is genuinely hard. July and August routinely reach 45C with humidity off the Gulf that makes it worse, and anything outdoors — desert safaris, waterparks, walking tours — becomes an endurance test between ten in the morning and six in the evening. The city is built for it: everything is air-conditioned and connected. But if your plan is outdoors, this is not the time.
