On Koh Larn, the group heads to Tawaen Beach, where the next stretch of the day is yours: swim in the clear shallows, snorkel, rent a lounger, or book a jet ski or banana boat ride from the beach operators. Your guide stays reachable and keeps everyone on schedule. Astonishing value. For barely more than the cost of a couple of coffees at home you get hotel pickup, the speedboat over to Koh Larn, hours on Tawaen Beach and lunch. The water is genuinely turquoise and warm. Don't overthink it, just book it.
Easy, well-organised day. The van collected us on time, Bali Hai Pier was busy but our guide moved us through quickly, and the crossing takes only about half an hour. Tawaen Beach has loungers, food and water sports if you want them. Perfect beach day.
Great trip for the money. Tawaen is the busiest beach on the island so expect crowds and vendors, but the sand and sea are lovely. If you want quiet, walk or take a taxi to one of the smaller beaches. Lunch was fine and filling.
Did this on our second day in Pattaya and it set the tone for the whole trip. Speedboat ride is fun, the island is beautiful, and having the transfers sorted means zero stress. Added a jet ski on the beach separately which was cheap enough.
Very good day for a very small price. The guide was helpful and told us exactly when and where to meet for the return boat, then left us free the rest of the time. Water clarity near the rocks at the end of the beach was excellent for snorkelling.
