La bahía de Phang Nga es un paisaje kárstico hundido de unas 40 torres calizas que emergen de aguas verdes y poco profundas entre Phuket y Krabi, famoso por la película de Bond de 1974 rodada en Khao Phing Kan, la isla que hoy se llama isla de James Bond, pequeña, concurrida y que merece veinte minutos. La razón para venir es el piragüismo por las cuevas marinas: con la marea baja, las canoas hinchables se cuelan por túneles hasta lagunas escondidas (los hongs) dentro de las islas, rodeadas de acantilados y manglares, y es la marea la que decide el recorrido. Koh Panyee, el pueblo pesquero musulmán sobre pilotes, es la parada de la comida. We enjoyed kayaking and visiting the caves, but we expected the kayak tour to be longer. We were only on the water for around 40 minutes and we spent over an hour exploring one cave (which felt like too much time) while our guide napped at the entrance to the cave. Water was provided, and the provided lunch was good. A dry bag was provided but it had a hole in it, so we used our own. It was nice to learn a little bit about our guides village. Our guide took some pictures for us, which was nice. There were only 2 other people on the tour with us. While I had a good time, I wish I had chosen a d
