Noventa minutos alimentando elefantes en un santuario al que se llega en barco desde el muelle de Ao Nam Mao.
El traslado es parte de lo que lo hace especial. El santuario se encuentra alejado de la franja de Ao Nang, y la travesía desde Ao Nam Mao es lo que lo mantiene en la tranquilidad en lugar de junto a la carretera turística.
Usted prepara la comida y la entrega personalmente. La comida de los elefantes aquí es plátanos, caña de azúcar y bolas de arroz y tamarindo enrolladas a mano, y un elefante asiático adulto consume unos 150 kilogramos de materia vegetal al día, lo que reordena su idea de lo que implica tener uno. El resto del tiempo se pasa cerca de los animales mientras hacen cosas de elefantes ordinarias.

my guide had a thorough knowledge of the elephants and why the sanctuary exists. They say everydays a schoolday and it certainly was today having learned of some amazing facts about these wonderful animals.

we got picked up on time, staff were lovely we had our 16 month old baby with us and they kept her entertained so I could enjoy the experience. food was provided and refreshments which was good, great value for money. elephants were beautiful and seemed well cared for was great to make the food and feed them. definitely recommend.

It was great. They are punctual and the total time of the tour is good. The guide explains very well. They gave us snacks, drinks and fruits at the beginning and the end, plus mango sticky rice at the end. They take care very well of the elephants and the people. And last but not least, the elephants are amazing.
As soon as we arrived it felt calm. The elephants were well cared for with their care takers. All of the staff were so gentle and kind, they explained everything we needed to know about the elephants and how we could meet them, it was truly a one of a kind experience and a definite must! The elephants themself were gentle giants and very peaceful, thank you.
