Once horas que cubren la mitad interior de Krabi por la mañana y sus islas por la tarde, la única forma de ver ambas en un día.

La mañana se pasa completamente alejada de la costa. El interior de Krabi es caliza y selva tropical, con pozas alimentadas por manantiales y cascadas que permanecen frescas incluso en abril, cuando la costa está en su punto más caluroso, y un mirador que encuadra todo el paisaje kárstico en una sola toma. Casi nadie en unas vacaciones de playa va al interior, y precisamente por eso merece la pena el inicio temprano.

La tarde y la noche llevan el barco hasta Railay, el banco de arena de Thale Waek, Poda, Tup y Mor. Railay es una península aislada de la red de carreteras por promontorios calcáreos, así que solo se puede llegar en barco. Thale Waek, el Mar Separado, es una franja de arena que une islas en marea baja y desaparece en marea alta, por lo que el horario sigue la tabla de mareas en lugar del reloj.
