El jardín tropical de Nong Nooch es uno de los parques botánicos más grandes y elaboradamente ajardinados del sudeste asiático, extendido sobre cientos de hectáreas justo al sur de Pattaya. Este pase de entrada le lleva directamente a través de la puerta y a todo el recinto, donde jardines temáticos meticulosamente esculpidos se suceden rápidamente: parterres de estilo francés, una colección de cactus y suculentas, un vivero de orquídeas, y exhibiciones de topiaria recortadas en forma de animales y patrones geométricos.
Uno de los rincones más fotografiados del parque es el Valle de los Dinosaurios, un extenso sendero flanqueado por cientos de modelos de dinosaurios a tamaño real entre la vegetación, un éxito garantizado con los niños y una parada fotográfica realmente divertida para todos los demás. Pasarelas elevadas discurren sobre varias zonas del jardín, ofreciendo una vista desde arriba del diseño paisajístico que simplemente no se obtiene a nivel del suelo.
Su entrada también cubre los espectáculos culturales tailandeses diarios celebrados en el anfiteatro del parque, con danza tradicional, percusión, y representaciones escenificadas que se repiten varias veces al día. La mayoría de los visitantes pasan aquí entre tres y cuatro horas a un ritmo cómodo, aunque fácilmente puede quedarse más tiempo. Arrive at the main gate at any time during opening hours, show your ticket, and grab a park map — the grounds are large enough that a rough plan helps. Most visitors start with the signature themed gardens near the entrance, working through the French garden, topiary displays, orchid houses, and cactus collections, with the elevated skywalk offering the best overview of the sculpted grounds below.
From there, follow the signs to Dinosaur Valley, where the trail winds past hundreds of life-sized dinosaur figures — allow a good 45 minutes if you like photos. Check the show schedule when you arrive so you can time your loop to end at the amphitheater for one of the daily Thai cultural performances, which feature traditional dance and drumming. With food outlets scattered through the park, it's easy to break for lunch or a cold drink whenever you need it before heading back to Pattaya.

Far bigger and more impressive than we expected. The French garden and the topiary sections are beautifully kept, and the cactus house was extraordinary. We spent nearly five hours and still didn't see everything. Excellent value for the ticket price.
Took the kids and they loved Dinosaur Valley — hundreds of life-size models along a walking trail. The cultural show with the Thai dancing was colourful and well performed. Buying the ticket in advance meant walking straight past the counter queue.
Gorgeous gardens and very well maintained. The orchid nursery alone was worth the visit for me. It's a big site so wear comfortable shoes, and consider the buggy tour if walking is difficult. Great day out for very little money.
Beautiful place, genuinely one of the best botanical gardens I've visited. The only downside is that transport isn't included, so factor in a taxi or Grab from Pattaya — it's about half an hour each way. The ticket itself is a bargain.
Very peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The topiary elephants and the Stonehenge replica garden made for great photos. Cultural show times are posted at the entrance so plan your walk around them. Highly recommended for families and couples alike.
Impressive gardens and good value. It gets very hot in the middle of the day with limited shade in some zones, so go early or late and carry water. The show was enjoyable though quite touristy. Still well worth the entry price.
One of our favourite things in Pattaya. Skipping the ticket line was easy with the voucher and we were inside within minutes. The variety is remarkable — formal gardens, tropical planting, dinosaurs and a cultural performance all in one place.
Excellent value for a full day. The gardens are enormous and immaculately maintained, and the cultural show gave the kids something different. Plenty of food options inside. Would happily go again on a future trip.
