Cette expérience de 4 heures se déroule au départ de Krabi, construite autour de Lac Cheow Lan, Khao Sam Kloe et Grotte de Pra Kie Phet. Votre place est retenue auprès de l'opérateur avant que nous considérions votre réservation comme définitive.

La baie de Phang Nga est un paysage karstique noyé de quelque 40 tours calcaires qui surgissent d'une eau verte et peu profonde entre Phuket et Krabi, rendu célèbre par le film de James Bond de 1974 tourné à Khao Phing Kan, l'île qu'on appelle aujourd'hui l'île de James Bond, petite, fréquentée et qui vaut vingt minutes. La raison de venir, c'est le canoë dans les grottes marines : à marée basse, des canoës gonflables se faufilent par des tunnels jusqu'à des lagons cachés (les hongs) à l'intérieur des îles, cernés de falaises et de mangroves, et c'est la marée qui décide de l'itinéraire. Koh Panyee, le village de pêcheurs musulman sur pilotis, est l'arrêt du déjeuner. Les sorties en bateau à longue queue depuis le côté Phang Nga sont plus calmes que les hors-bord au départ de Phuket.
