Le jardin tropical de Nong Nooch est l'un des parcs botaniques les plus vastes et les plus élaborés d'Asie du Sud-Est, s'étendant sur des centaines d'hectares juste au sud de Pattaya. Ce pass d'entrée vous fait franchir directement le portail et accéder à l'ensemble du domaine, où des jardins thématiques méticuleusement sculptés se succèdent rapidement : parterres à la française, collection de cactus et de plantes succulentes, pépinière d'orchidées, et topiaires taillées en formes d'animaux et de motifs géométriques.
L'un des coins les plus photographiés du parc est la vallée des Dinosaures, un vaste sentier bordé de centaines de modèles de dinosaures grandeur nature disséminés parmi la verdure, un succès garanti auprès des enfants et un arrêt photo réellement amusant pour tous les autres. Des passerelles surélevées s'étendent au-dessus de plusieurs zones du jardin, offrant une vue d'ensemble sur l'aménagement paysager qu'on ne peut simplement pas obtenir au niveau du sol.
Votre billet couvre également les spectacles culturels thaïlandais quotidiens donnés dans l'amphithéâtre du parc, avec danse traditionnelle, percussions et représentations mises en scène plusieurs fois par jour. La plupart des visiteurs y passent trois à quatre heures à un rythme confortable, mais vous pouvez facilement rester plus longtemps. Arrive at the main gate at any time during opening hours, show your ticket, and grab a park map — the grounds are large enough that a rough plan helps. Most visitors start with the signature themed gardens near the entrance, working through the French garden, topiary displays, orchid houses, and cactus collections, with the elevated skywalk offering the best overview of the sculpted grounds below.
From there, follow the signs to Dinosaur Valley, where the trail winds past hundreds of life-sized dinosaur figures — allow a good 45 minutes if you like photos. Check the show schedule when you arrive so you can time your loop to end at the amphitheater for one of the daily Thai cultural performances, which feature traditional dance and drumming. With food outlets scattered through the park, it's easy to break for lunch or a cold drink whenever you need it before heading back to Pattaya.

Far bigger and more impressive than we expected. The French garden and the topiary sections are beautifully kept, and the cactus house was extraordinary. We spent nearly five hours and still didn't see everything. Excellent value for the ticket price.
Took the kids and they loved Dinosaur Valley — hundreds of life-size models along a walking trail. The cultural show with the Thai dancing was colourful and well performed. Buying the ticket in advance meant walking straight past the counter queue.
Gorgeous gardens and very well maintained. The orchid nursery alone was worth the visit for me. It's a big site so wear comfortable shoes, and consider the buggy tour if walking is difficult. Great day out for very little money.
Beautiful place, genuinely one of the best botanical gardens I've visited. The only downside is that transport isn't included, so factor in a taxi or Grab from Pattaya — it's about half an hour each way. The ticket itself is a bargain.
Very peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The topiary elephants and the Stonehenge replica garden made for great photos. Cultural show times are posted at the entrance so plan your walk around them. Highly recommended for families and couples alike.
Impressive gardens and good value. It gets very hot in the middle of the day with limited shade in some zones, so go early or late and carry water. The show was enjoyable though quite touristy. Still well worth the entry price.
One of our favourite things in Pattaya. Skipping the ticket line was easy with the voucher and we were inside within minutes. The variety is remarkable — formal gardens, tropical planting, dinosaurs and a cultural performance all in one place.
Excellent value for a full day. The gardens are enormous and immaculately maintained, and the cultural show gave the kids something different. Plenty of food options inside. Would happily go again on a future trip.
