This is a 6-hour experience in Nara. It is run by Tours 2 Nara, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Kyoto was Japan's capital for over a thousand years until 1868 and has 17 UNESCO-listed sites among some 2,000 temples and shrines. The big three are Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, covered in gold leaf and best in morning light; Kiyomizu-dera, the wooden stage on the eastern hills with the Higashiyama lanes of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka below it; and Fushimi Inari's gates. Nijo Castle has the nightingale floors that squeak against intruders, and Ryoan-ji the rock garden. Temples open around 8:00 or 9:00 and close at 17:00, and the city bus is slow; a day with a driver or a guide who orders the stops against the crowds is the difference between four sights and seven.

Nara is fantastic, the tour is awesome, deers are lovely (as long as you know how to deal with them) but most of all Claudio is the most gentle, prepared, careful, easy to go with guide we had in Japan and his knowledge of Nara and Japan is impressive. He speaks fluently both english and spanish and we definitely recommend him to anyone!

Increíble actividad con Claudio, desde el principio del tour fue súper amabale y nos explicó de manera clara todo lo haríamos, en el transporte nos iba contando datos y historias sobre la ciudad que hicieron más ameno el recorrido, al llegar la forma en la que él sabe cómo evitar aglomeraciones y ciertos tips que te ayudan a mejorar tu experiencia considero que eso es el gran valor agregado de la actividad, si tienen la oportunidad no duden en reservarla, se la pasarán increíble.

La aventura comenzó desde que Claudio pasó por nosotros al hotel. Desde el primer momento nos hizo sentir muy cómodos y nos fue explicando todo de manera clara, tranquila y con mucha paciencia.
