Half-Day Mangrove Boat Trip And Khao Khanap Nam Cave in Krabi

The tour was great. Did it with 2 young children (2 and 6 year olds) had a long tail boat to ourselves and a private taxi transfer. The tour guide was great and took us to the cave followed by a cruise along the canal through the mangroves and a stop at a local fish farm restaurant which was a lovely surprise. Very friendly and was great time for the kids, not too short and not too long

We really enjoyed this tour. our guide was great, very helpful and friendly and while his English was limited it was more than adequate to explain what we were seeing and I had no trouble understanding him. we saw everything we expected and more. the cave exploring was great, the mangroves were really interesting and the monkeys were a real highlight. only negative was that the tour was shorter than advertised and quite expensive for the length of the tour

The guide was amazing, the longtail boat was well kept and clean! Loved the cave tour and the stop at floating restaurant. Couldn’t get into the deep of the mangroves as it was low tide. Overall a pleasant experience!

Der Ausflug war wirklich gut. Wir hatten Glück und waren nur zu 2. Der Guide hat uns eine ganz private „Tour“ gegeben und wir waren eigentlich alleine in der Höhle. Das einzige negative war, dass wir nach der Fahrt durch die Mangroven einen Zwischenstopp bei einer Fisher Farm gemacht haben. Dort wollte man uns Essen/Trinken verkaufen. Davon stand nichts im Programm. Wir waren dann schon eine halbe Stunde früher wieder zurück weil wir nichts gegessen haben. Der Transport war jedoch einwandfrei.

Die Aktivität war eine gelungene Abwechslung zu dem Touri Trubel auf den Phi Phi Inseln. Der Guide (Kip?) war sehr nett und hat sich ausreichend Zeit für uns genommen. Beachten muss man jedoch, dass bei den 2 h die An- und Abfahrt dazu zählt, jedoch hatten wir an keinem Punkt der Tour das Gefühl, dass wir dort länger Zeit benötigen. Der Preis ist zwar im Gegensatz zu den Ganztagestouren hoch, jedoch hat es sich unserer Meinung nach auf jeden Fall rentiert. Einen Affen konnten wir auch sehen.

after 1hour from pick up we whas already back at the hotel. the boat driver english whas very bad we went alone into the cave so no extra information whas given. on the website it said 2hours but this whas without hotel transfer 45min max.

This tour is a complete scam. The guide arrived late and we returned early. The tour was rearranged and we spend at least 45 of the already shortened time in an restaurant - 1 hour 45 min in total and the guide wanted to stay 30 min in the cave! We didn’t see any mangroves because the guide said it’s low tide right now. Yea that was true but then they shouldn’t offer the tour in the first place. Please stay away from this tour and save yourself the hassle of getting your money back!!!

Die Mangrovenwälder sind wirklich wunderschön. Allerdings ist der Ausflug wirklich sehr sehr kurz und dafür zu teuer. Wir haben einiges gesehen, nochmal würde ich den Ausflug jedoch nicht machen. Der Guide war super und auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Rigtig fin lille tur. Imponerende grotter. Spændende sejlads i mangroven. Vi fik frugt og drikkevarer på en fiskefarm. Guiden var ikke ret god til engelsk, så kommunikationen var ikke imponerende... men omgivelserne overdøvede :-)

Unfortunately, while we did enjoy this trip, I would not say it was good value for money. The tour guide unfortunately was not English speaking so we read information from the boards in the cave. We were then supposed to walk through the forest but this did not happen. We are assuming this was because we went in the afternoon and low tide prevented us from getting to the forest walk? But as this is not specified in the booking, this is just a guess. Presumably the forest walk was half the trip as we were dropped back off 1.5 hours later rather than the 3 hours stated in the description. The to
