This is a 2.5-hour experience in Krabi. It is run by Oh-Hoo, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese cooking classes usually build a meal around dashi, the kombu and bonito stock that sits under miso soup, simmered dishes and noodle broths, and then one or two headline dishes: rolled sushi or nigiri, gyoza, tempura, okonomiyaki, or a bento box. Wagashi classes make the seasonal sweets served with tea from sweet bean paste. Most classes run two to three hours in a home kitchen or a small studio, and vegetarian versions replace the bonito with a kombu-shiitake dashi. You eat what you make, and Japanese teachers are precise about technique.

Fun, easy to follow instruction from cheerful professional teachers and the recipe book, which we were encouraged to make our own notes in, includes all the possible dishes to make. We only made 3 dishes but some made 5 dishes in the same time. It was great to see how quickly it’s possible to make delicious food! The view from the raised cookery area is spectacular too, and there’s a temple right beside the building! Good transfer good everything! We recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An amazing experience at Ao Nang Thai Cookery School. I had been really looking forward to these cooking classes, and they exceeded all my expectations. There were only four people in the class, which made the experience very personal. The food we cooked was absolutely perfect – very delicious and filling, and we even took some home with us 🙂 The chef was friendly and knowledgeable, gave a lot of attention to the dishes we were preparing, and answered all our questions. Delicious food and a big bonus that you get the recipes to bring home afterwards. Cooking was so much fun with an amazing view too, and the instructors super friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends going to Ao Nang! The cute kitties were a big plus! 🐱
The Thai cooking class was amazing and a real highlight. There were five dishes to choose from, giving everyone great variety. The instructors were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable and easy to follow. The kitchen was extremely clean and hygienic, which was reassuring. All the recipes were simple to prepare and tasted incredible. Definitely go on an empty stomach, as you will be very full by the end. Highly recommended and absolutely worth it.
