Full description
This is a 4-hour experience in Krabi. It is run by Diamond Cave Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.
The price covers Round trip transfer, Seasonal fruits, Soft drinks, Lunch and Life jacket. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Ko Lanta District. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Diamond Cave Tour before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

We had a wonderful day with our guide Ramadan. He was extremely friendly, patient, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Thanks to him, we enjoyed many special moments and had a lot of fun. Highly recommended!
Picked up from hotel, taken to the pier for the long boat. Greeted by a friendly group and tour guide. The trip was amazing, it included two cave visits, one being skull island!! You got to climb inside, it really was a great experience. We then stopped for lunch in a bay, ate a delicious homemade meal on and watched monkeys play on the beach. Optional feeding the monkeys as well. The final activity included kayaking around the islands and under caves for around 30-40 minutes. On the way back you sail through mangrove forests and see loads of wildlife. The tour guide was really friendly and pr
It was amazing!! We did the “easy banana climb” which put us in the skull cave then there was another short climb to another part of the cave. My husband and I chose to opt out on the next 2 climbs. But the last cave in the skull cave was amazing too. Kayaking into the sea cave was really neat. Overall an amazing experience I would recommend
We had a great day - highly recommend this tour. Full of adventure and relaxation. Our guide's English was not very good, so we didn't learn a lot, but we did have a lot of fun. Would do it again. Loved that it wasn't packed full of people and very easy pace. Skull cave is a challenge, but one we all loved.
Super good guide, very very friendly and engaging. Trip was great, nice scenery, variation between climbing, chilling, kayaking and saying hi to the monkeys of the mangrove. ONLY caveat, and I say this mainly as a warning. There are some very, very risky climbing involved on Skull Island so only do this if youre physically fit and okay with taking some risks. Its not necessarily super difficult, but one trip could lead to a severe fall. You could also stay at the boat while the others climb, but be aware that there is inherent risk in that part of the tour.
Trip was brilliant! Cave walk was amazing and kayaking was quick but good fun, what we were after. Would absolutely recommend for a great half dayer. Ramadam our guide was awesome. Make sure you get him!
It was a funny adventure and a good way to connected with new people as a solo traveler. The best thing was the hiking and the monkeys on our boat. The kayaking time was a little to short for my condition. All in all a great activity
Fun day. Loved the boat trip through the mangroves and monkeys. The kayaking was fun too and we were guided into the cave. I didn't climb the skull cave (the tyre and rope ladder looked a bit steep!) but my partner loved it. Good to see a different part of Lanta.
I absolutely loved climbing in the skull cave! It was really cool and the view was incredible!
Sing (our Guide) was Great. He showed us everything and spoke very good English. I highly recommend to go on a trip with him!
Super friendly guide with sufficient english skills and some interesting information. We only visited 1 cave instead of 2, and did not hike / climb, but that didn‘t change the quality of the trip for us. We were together with only one other couple, so nearly a private tour, that was awesome.
Best thing we did in Koh Lanta. Unexpected as didn’t realise we would take a Longtail boat to islands to go kayaking. Weather was rainy but didn’t prevent from being such a stunning outing. 2 cave visits. Final cave was quite a hike. Good idea to bring trainers. Guide was great. Monkeys on beach and boat added bonus!
