Full description
This is a 7-hour experience in Krabi. It is run by Ask Discovery Thailand, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
Pickup is offered from Tubkak hotel and resort, Mueang Krabi District and Ao Nang; the exact spot and time are agreed with Ask Discovery Thailand once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, Mangrove kayaking equipment, local guide, Drinking water and Accident insurance. It does not cover National Park entrance fee, Personal expenses and Optional gratuities, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Hotel pickup in Krabi. Ask Discovery Thailand confirms your pickup time and the exact spot once the booking is in. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Ask Discovery Thailand before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
We had a fantastic tour with our guide today. The kayak portion is very beautiful and it was nice to be able to go at whatever pace we wanted. The waterfall is quite beautiful and peaceful, not many people around and you can swim in the basins. The guide was amazing at providing details about Krabi and the forests and he was fun to talk to. All in all it was a perfect experience. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!
Fantastic trip. We visited a very impressive waterfall in the morning, in a beautiful, uncrowded national park. We drove through plantations and our guide was knowledgeable and provided information about the local culture and agricultural industries. We had a good local lunch at the kayak point. Then we headed off on an amazing kayaking trip, accompanied by a great local guide, through mangroves, stopping off first on a beach (where you could take a quick swim if you wanted) and later in a lagoon. We saw lots of monkeys in the trees and on the rocks. Recommended.
