Pattaya Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Half-Day Tour
Full description
This is a 3-hour experience in Pattaya, built around Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya. It is run by Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.
The price covers Roundtrip transportation from Bangkok, Hotel pickup and drop-off, Tour guide, Traditional Thai meal and Snacks. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Bangkok. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

The interaction with the was perfect, beautiful animals and you can how well they are looked after 100% on everything
AMAZING! This was my first time meeting elephants and it exceeded my expectations. The guides are so helpful in teaching ethical ways to interact with the animals. You get to feed them and wash them. There are plenty of opportunities to take photos too! The meal they served at the end was delicious and they also provided snacks. My biggest tip though is to bring bug spray!! The mosquitos are hungry out there. Also be aware that the car ride from Bangkok is around 2 hours one way to Pattaya… so if even though the tour is advertised as half-day (3 hours) when you consider drive time it’s a full
Very well organized tour, good transportation, many activities and a meal at the end. The elephants are cute.
Amazing experience with a lot of surprises in a good way during the trip !! All the crew very friendly !! We love it !
Our guide was friendly, she was a good driver, it was comfortable. Being out of they city, it was a really good option to pick a car and single transport as it was very comfortable. The experience at the Elephant Sanctuary is more than whatever you can imagine.
We LOVED this experience!! Great communication, they arranged our private transfer, which was right on time and drove us safely to and from our tour. The staff at the elephant sanctuary were amazing. They were so genuine, friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience from start to finish and the time with the elephants was amazing. We would definitely do it again!
It was an amazing experience, and the guides and driver to make this all happen were really great. This will live as a very memorable interaction. Thanks to everybody involved we have more awareness and adoration for these wonderful creatures. Thank you!
was a well organised trip, great communication, well organised. I have a disabled daughter and the staff went above and beyond to look after her. The Elephants are well loved and cared for. Even provided with a lovely meal at the end of the day.
Had an amazing time at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Pattaya, the tour guide was very knowledgeable about elephants, the activities were sooo much fun, the photographer made sure to take everyone's picture. I wouldn't mind coming around a second time or recommending to people 😊
We booked this as a last minute trip whilst in Bangkok. We were collected by a lovely lady called Bee and her daughter. They took us all the way to the Sanctuary which was about a 2 1/2 hour journey. The elephants were amazing. Such a great experience to feed and bathe them. I would definitely recommend the trip
What an amazing facility. As someone who is deeply passionate about ethical practices I was so touched by how much the staff love and care for these elephants. Words can’t describe how I felt after the experience. So phenomenal.
Excellent! Driver was about half an hour early and got us there safe. The experience at the elephant sanctuary was really well organised and very clear. Fed, washed and scrubbed the elephants. Then had a shower and ate. Then learned how to make paper from elephant dung! Recommend everyone to take a change of clothes and shower stuff. Clean and tidy in the showers, but you will need to change after washing the elephants. If you have wet shoes they are a good idea too. Really can’t recommend this experience enough and the money goes to a sanctuary that obviously cares for the animals.
