06:00 AM – Flight from Bangalore to Delhi

Board your morning flight from Bangalore to Delhi. The flight duration is typically around 2.5 to 3 hours, making it a quick and convenient way to travel between the two major cities. During the flight, you can relax, enjoy refreshments, and admire the aerial views of India’s changing landscapes. As you approach Delhi, you will begin the next phase of your journey toward Agra, home to the magnificent Taj Mahal. The flight provides a comfortable transition from the southern city of Bangalore to the historic northern region of India.

09:00 AM – Arrival in Delhi & Drive to Agra

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by your private driver who will accompany you for the next part of your journey. From here, begin the scenic drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, one of India’s most modern and fastest highways. The drive usually takes around three hours and offers a smooth and comfortable travel experience. Along the way, you will pass through the countryside of northern India, witnessing small towns, open fields, and glimpses of everyday rural life. The expressway allows for a relaxing journey while you anticipate your visit to one of the world’s most famous landmarks.

12:00 PM – Visit the Taj Mahal

Upon arrival in Agra, you will meet your professional local guide who will accompany you to the Taj Mahal. This world-famous monument is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal stands as a timeless symbol of love and devotion. As you enter the complex, you will be amazed by the breathtaking white marble structure surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and reflecting pools. Your guide will share fascinating stories about its history, architecture, and the intricate craftsmanship that went into building this masterpiece. Take your time exploring the monument, admiring the delicate marble inlay work, and capturing unforgettable photographs of this extraordinary monument.

02:00 PM – Lunch at Local Restaurant

After visiting the Taj Mahal, take a relaxing break and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Agra. Here you can experience authentic North Indian cuisine, known for its rich flavors and aromatic spices. Popular dishes may include butter chicken, paneer specialties, lentils, naan bread, and flavorful rice preparations. This lunch break allows you to relax, recharge, and reflect on the incredible experience of visiting the Taj Mahal. Please note that the cost of the meal is usually not included, giving you the flexibility to choose dishes according to your preferences.

03:00 PM – Visit Agra Fort

I honestly didn't think seeing the Taj from Bangalore in one day was doable, but it was seamless. The flight to Delhi was on time, the car on the Yamuna Expressway was cool and comfortable, and our guide clearly loved his job. Standing in front of that marble in late morning light was a moment I'll never forget. Worth every minute of the early alarm.

Brilliant value for what you get. Flights both ways, airport pickups, a private car in Agra, entry tickets and even lunch, all sorted for us. The guide at Agra Fort knew the Mughal history inside out and answered every question my teenager threw at him. We were back in Bangalore by night without a single hiccup.

A wonderful day overall, though be prepared, it is long and starts painfully early. The drive from Delhi to Agra is a good three hours each way, so by evening we were exhausted. That said, the Taj Mahal exceeded every expectation and the included lunch was tasty. Just go in knowing it's a marathon, not a stroll.

Efficient and stress-free from start to finish. What sold me was not having to organize flights or cabs myself, it was all handled. Our guide skipped us past the crowds at the ticket lines and found the perfect angle for photos with no one else in frame. The white marble against a blue October sky was unreal.

As a solo traveler I felt completely looked after. The private car in Agra meant I could go at my own pace and the driver was patient while I took a hundred photos. Agra Fort surprised me, I'd only come for the Taj but the fort's views across the river to the mausoleum were spectacular. Cool November weather made the walking easy.

Genuinely magical seeing the Taj, and the logistics were smooth. My only gripe is that the Agra Fort visit felt a little rushed because we had a flight to catch back to Bangalore, so we didn't linger as long as I'd have liked. Still, the guide was excellent and bottled water on hand all day was a nice touch. Would recommend for the convenience alone.

Did this for my parents' anniversary and it was flawless. The whole day was choreographed so we never waited around confused. Lunch was included and the restaurant handled my mum's vegetarian request without any fuss. Watching them stand together in front of the Taj made the pre-dawn start completely worth it. The team thought of everything.

Incredible use of a single day. We flew out of Bangalore before sunrise, and by mid-morning we were walking through the Taj gardens. Late May was hot, so I was grateful for the air-conditioned car and constant bottled water. Our guide's storytelling about Shah Jahan and Mumtaz brought the whole place to life. Smooth flights both directions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. This is a same-day round trip that packs in both monuments across roughly 12 hours. You fly Bangalore to Delhi in the early morning, drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, tour the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with your guide, then fly back the same evening. If you'd rather not rush, the same-day flight tour focused on the Taj Mahal or an overnight stay option give you a gentler pace.
Yes. The $95 price includes round-trip flight tickets (Bangalore-Delhi-Bangalore) plus airport transfers in both Bangalore and Delhi. You won't need to book any flights or arrange your own cabs separately, everything from the moment you reach Bangalore airport is handled for you.
They are. Monument entry tickets are included for both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, so there's nothing extra to pay at the gates. Your professional government-approved guide handles the entry lines and ticketing while you focus on the sights.
Expect a very early start, typically before dawn, so you can catch the morning flight from Bangalore to Delhi and reach Agra with enough daylight for both monuments. The early departure is what makes a same-day return possible. If pre-dawn wake-ups aren't for you, consider the 2-day Agra tour by flight which spreads everything over two relaxed days.
Yes, lunch is included, along with bottled water throughout the journey. Agra restaurants used on these tours are very accustomed to vegetarian, Jain and other dietary needs, so let us know in advance and it will be arranged. Indian vegetarian food is widely available and easy to accommodate.
Ground transport in Agra is by private air-conditioned car with your own government tour guide, so the sightseeing portion feels personal and flexible. The flights themselves are on scheduled commercial services alongside other passengers. This blend keeps the cost efficient while giving you a private experience at the monuments.
The drive along the modern Yamuna Expressway takes roughly three to four hours each way, depending on traffic leaving Delhi. It's a smooth, well-maintained highway and your car is fully air-conditioned. Prefer to skip the long same-day driving? An overnight Agra package breaks the journey up so you're fresher at the Taj.
Because you arrive after the morning flight and drive, you'll usually be at the Taj Mahal in the late morning, when the white marble glows beautifully. Mornings also tend to be a touch cooler than midday. The light is excellent for photos, and your guide knows the best vantage points for that classic reflection shot.
October to March is ideal, with pleasant, cooler weather that suits a long day of travel and walking. April to June brings intense North Indian heat, often above 40C, while July to September can be humid with monsoon showers. The Taj is stunning year-round, but winter months make the full-day pace much more comfortable.
There's a fair amount of walking on stone and marble surfaces, plus some steps and ramps at both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. It's moderate rather than strenuous, but the ground can be uneven and the day is long. Comfortable closed shoes and a steady pace make it very manageable for most travelers.
It can be, with realistic expectations. The private car and included lunch help, but the pre-dawn start, flights and long day are tiring for very young kids or those with limited mobility. Families and seniors who prefer a slower rhythm often choose the overnight stay tour so there's time to rest between the monuments.
Wear comfortable closed walking shoes and modest, breathable clothing that covers shoulders and knees out of respect for the monuments. Bring sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen for the open courtyards, and a light layer for the early morning and flights. Note that shoes must be removed or covered near the Taj's main platform; cloth covers are usually provided.
Absolutely, photography is allowed in the gardens and grounds of both sites and this is one of the most photogenic day trips in India. Do note that photography is prohibited inside the main mausoleum of the Taj Mahal, and tripods or professional gear may need special permission. Your guide will point out the best spots and help with those iconic shots.
Because this tour includes pre-booked flight tickets, cancellation terms are stricter than for a standard day tour, so please book with confidence on your chosen date. Simply reserve online, and we'll confirm your flights, guide and car once your details are received. Reach out before booking if your dates are flexible so we can secure the best morning flight.
This 12-hour trip is the fastest way to see both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and be home the same night. If you have more time, the 2-day Agra city tour adds more of Agra at a relaxed pace, while the 3-day Taj and Jaipur tour extends into Rajasthan's Pink City. Choose based on how much time you can spare.
Yes, the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday for religious reasons. Please ensure your tour date for the Taj Mahal does not fall on a Friday.
Yes, foreign tourists must show their original passport or a high-quality digital photo at the entrance gates for security identification and monument entry.
Sunrise is the best time to visit the Taj Mahal. The gates open at 6:00 AM and the soft morning light creates the most stunning views. Arrive by 5:30 AM to beat the crowds and get the best photography conditions.
