Full description

This is a 3-hour experience in Bangkok. It is run by Co van Kessel Bangkok Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

The price covers Bicycle, Guide, Street-food meal, Bottled water and Ferry crossing. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Co van Kessel Bangkok Tours sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Co van Kessel Bangkok Tours before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Excellent! I saw parts of Bangkok I would never have seen if not for this bike tour. Flower market, China Town and royal palace at night all lit up certainly glimmered as highlights. Riding along and across the river also provided novel views. Emma, our guide, and “Party”, her assistant, exuded enthusiasm and made the evening on wheels a highlight of my Thailand trip.

It was fantastic! Peckky and Shy were incredible guides - showed us a ton of the city and even areas that we have yet to explore. The night market that we stopped at was amazing and had so many delicious snacks. They took good care of us the entire way! Will definitely recommend and may even try some of the other experiences with this company

Bob and Junior were super friendly hosts. Bob really took the time to explain the history of the Bangkok city temples and other sights, while Junior guarded over our safety as we crossed the traffic. This tour is worth every penny. A must-do when you have a few hours to spare in your evening!

Cosy. Cultural. Fun. This is the evening cycle tour. A great guide and some extra treats in store: soft drink, street food, toilet stop. A super excursion at a decent price.

The tour will take you to places, you would never find or visit on your own. You can see how people in Bangkok live, hear stories about lifestyle, history and the city itself. It was an amazing experience with wonderful guides. If you really want to experience what Bangkok is like, these guys will show you.

This was without a doubt the highlight of my trip to Bangkok. Our guide and the bike that we had was in perfect condition! We got to cycle through the back streets of Bangkok. I would never have been able to see this part of the city without going on this tour. A visit to Bangkok would not be complete without this. A real must do!
