Full description
This is a 3-hour experience in Bangkok. It is run by DiscoverEase Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese food tours work because the best places are small, unmarked and full of regulars, and a guide who orders for you opens them. An izakaya crawl covers yakitori, sashimi, karaage and the local pours of sake, shochu and highballs across three or four counters in an evening; a ramen walk explains the broths, tonkotsu, shoyu, miso and shio, and the regional styles. Most places seat eight to twelve and tours run six to eight guests for that reason. Vegetarians should say so when booking, because dashi stock is fish and hidden in almost everything; halal-certified options exist but are fewer.
The price covers Guide, Walking Tour, Food Samples and Bottled Water. It does not cover Hotel Pick Up and Drop Off, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Wat Leng Noei Yi). We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with DiscoverEase Tours before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

First of all - that’s a lot of food! Go hungry, you will eat so much! The places we visited are incredible hidden spots that I would never find or notice passing by them. The full tour is greatly curated, it offers a great blend of Chinese and Thai dishes, savory, spicy, sweet and even a drink. Our guides were amazing. Really took care of us. It started heavily pouring in the mid of the tour and they provided us with umbrellas and raincoats. Absolutely worth the money. I spent 3 hours eating some of the most delicious food in my life. Highly recommend it for first timers in Bangkok like me.
We had a marvelous time with our tour guide Eve. She showed us food places we would have never discovered on our own, treated us like friends and answered all questions we had. She made sure everyone was feeling fine and having a good time. We can really recommend this tour and particular our guide Eve.
We had so much food , it was a feist. We tried 2 Michelin street food and one Thai TV reward street restaurant. K our guide was super friendly and cheerful. Really recommend this tour
I had such a fun time and it was great to try a number of new foods and places I wouldn't have explored on my own.
Peak was amazing & so great ! We are so much delicious food, such a nice way to see Bangkok at night ! Would definitely recommend, still dreaming of all the delicious food
Friendly guide with good english skills. We enjoyed the tour and the food. The food was not experimental and every one of our group could eat it.
Our guide Na was excellent! She is knowledgeable and friendly and fun! We enjoyed the tastings and learned a lot. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous evening on our food tour! So much delicious food, it really was a feast. It was a great mix of savoury and sweet snacks! Thank you for a great night Peak.
Our tour was so much fun and a TON of great food. I’m vegetarian, and our tour guide Peak did a great job of providing vegetarian options. Would highly recommend going with her!
This tour features 10 food storage with 3 Michelin star vendors. Na was super knowledgeable, friendly and offered the best advice on how to enjoy the experience as a local would eat. If you do not enjoy walking or crowds, this may not be the tour for you as Chinatown in Bangkokis large and the streets can get very crowded on the weekends. Great tour! Amazing guide!
This was a great tour to eat a wide variety of Thai foods. Peak was an excellent guide for this culinary adventure. The food was delicious, and the tour provides an excellent opportunity to experience the lively Chinatown neighborhood. There is a lot of food to try so you definitely want to arrive hungry and ready to eat.
