Full description

This is a experience from Bangkok, built around Erawan Museum. It is run by Big Cat Travel Co., Ltd., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.

The price covers Private car transfer, Admission to Erawan Museum, Admission to Ancient City and Selected activities and meals based on chosen package. It does not cover Personal expenses not mentioned in the itinerary, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Bangkok. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Big Cat Travel Co., Ltd. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Everything was smooth and the driver was very kind to us at the Ancient City, where he offered to drive us around after discovering that none of us has a driving license, so we couldn't rent a vehicle there. Just a remark, the place is huge, so for some 3 hrs might not be enough.

We enjoyed both museums. our driver Ploy didn't speak much English but translated through her phone. there is so much to see so she drove us to the main buildings to see. it was nice to get into an air conditioned car after each visit of temples. very hot day.

Really good day, we went during songKran which made it that bit extra special. Buildings whether they were replicas or genuine were awesome, we stopped and had a water fight with some kids for songKran which was very well needed as the temperature hit a whopping 43 degrees. You can hire a golf buggy to drive round on which I would recommend on a hot day, but e-bikes are available also. If you’re in Bangkok and have half a day spare I would highly recommend doing this

Brilliant half-day out. Both sites were incredible and well worth a visit. For the Ancient city, you will need to organise transport to get around as it is so big and too hot to walk. Recommend that you take your passport and driving license as you can hire buggies if needed. You can also feed some resident elephants which was a nice surprise on the day.

The experience of having a private driver was brilliant, we was able to explore the attractions we booked at our own pace while not having to worry about getting from place to place. Pote our driver was great, appearing like Mr Ben's shopkeeper whenever we needed him. Both Erawan museum and ancient city attractions are breathtaking, we took so many pictures.

Well...this tour is perfectly unforgettable and mandatory. PP was an outstanding driver and guide. He driove us very safely through the traditional Bangkok traffic jam. He was very, very attentive, polite, and able to attend any request from our side. He took photos from us, he stopped in the best places to take photos, he purchased water for us,...well, he was supperb. The places are unforgettable. Beautiful, beaugiful. You cannot forgive this tour. Highly recommended.

Been trying to get to Ancient City for a few years; exceeded expectations in every way. If you’re looking for photo opportunities this is the place to go…I’ll go again since it’s too massive to see on one day.

we got picked up from our hotel as arranged, driver was very friendly, didn't speak much English but we made it work. He took us first to the Erawan museum which was amazing & waited for us outside until we were ready to move on to our next location. No rush whatsoever. Next stop was ancient city. He gave us bottles of water & and an umbrella as I forgot my hat and it was a really hot and sunny day. He was very considerate. Definitely would book other excursions with you again

Those are very beautiful museums, definitely must visit these awesome places. The car was very comfortable to go. The advantage of this tour is its customisation, so you can spend more time in the location. But you should be aware that there won’t be any guide with you so you navigate totally by yourself and if you ordered a package with lunch you should try to find it somewhere by yourself (we didn’t manage). Also take physical documents to rent a golf car to drive in Ancient city. Otherwise you’ll have to use tram which is not convenient
