This is a experience in Bangkok. It is run by EasyKart, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Street go-karting in Tokyo runs on public roads in a convoy of small karts with a guide in front, in costumes the operators rent, through Shibuya, Shinjuku or the Odaiba waterfront for one to three hours. It requires an international driving permit under the 1949 Geneva convention or a Japanese licence; a licence alone from most countries is not accepted, and operators check at check-in, so this is the single detail to sort out before booking. Character costumes from one famous game are no longer used after a court ruling, but the rest of the wardrobe is. Karts are open, slow and low, and the ride is in real traffic.

Great track layout. but the path is bumpy in corners so I can definitely see someone flipping and ending upside down as it's also a corner where you can go flat out. but great hospitality and amazing staff.
The experience was okay, but not exactly what I expected. I ended up driving alone, which made it less fun, and the track was quite small and very short, so the race felt over very quickly. That said, the track itself was exciting, the place was well organized, and the staff was helpful and professional. Check-in was easy and everything felt safe. What could be improved are clearer instructions for first-timers and a longer race time. Overall, it can be a fun and adrenaline-filled activity, especially if you go with a group, but for solo riders it felt a bit limited.

The instruction or briefing by the staff needs to be improved for people who do not know how to drive or have not use Go-kart before. Other than that, it is a fun place.
