This is a 5.5-hour experience in Bangkok, built around Amulet Market, Grand Palace Bangkok and Ferry. It is run by MONKEY TRAVEL ASIA by Ask Discovery, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples sit side by side across Japan and the etiquette differs slightly: at a shrine, bow at the torii, rinse hands and mouth at the water basin, then bow twice, clap twice, bow once at the hall; at a temple, no clapping, hands together, and incense if it is offered. Photography is fine outside and usually not inside halls. Zen meditation sessions, zazen, are taught at several Kyoto and Tokyo temples in 30 to 60 minute sittings with the posture explained; a shukubo temple stay adds the morning service and vegetarian shojin ryori. Shoes come off at every hall.

we loved our day. Our tour guide Angela was kind and informative. She took time to explain the temples and Thai values and beliefs. We enjoyed our Tuk Tuk ride and seeing the Bangkok city and exploring China Town. Very enjoyable day. Angela cared for us in the heat finding shade and bathroom breaks. we enjoyed our Thai lunch which was tasty. Thank you

Had an amazing day today as it was my last day in bangkok and I only had today to visit popular attractions. Mr. A was lovely! Very knowledgeable and helpful, also very funny! If you want to visit the temples and know about real thai history, I strongly advise you to book this tour.

We had a wonderful time on this walking tour of Bangkok's beautiful temples. Even though it was a very hot day, our guide Jenny made the experience absolutely perfect. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always made sure we were comfortable in the heat.The tour also included a delicious local lunch and a fun, short tuk-tuk ride, which was the perfect way to cool down. I highly recommend this tour, and especially Jenny, to anyone visiting Bangkok!

Our tour was amazing and our guide Nam was so lovely and informative! This is a great tour option for fitting in all of the major temples in Bangkok into one day. Only flaw of the day is that you arrive at 8:30 and don’t have lunch until 2:30ish, with limited time to stop and buy drinks or snacks between. However, I really would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok - just maybe bring some snacks to keep you going!

This was an incredible experience! Our tour guide Mild was super friendly, knowledgeable and really made the tour feel even more special - you could feel her passion and enthusiasm all the way through. We got to visit many temples, the Grand Palace and lunch was also provided.
