This is a 3-hour experience from Bangkok, built around Wat Phra Kaew, Tuk tuk and Wat Pho. It is run by Grandness Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.

It does not cover Grand Palace admission fee: 500 baht/person, Wat Pho admission fee: 300 baht/person and Wat Arun admission fee: 200 baht/person, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

She knew all the shortcuts, was happy to take a million pictures, and made sure we were accommodated- including helping us get a Grab back to our hotel. Irin was lovely and very patient with us when we arrived late and flustered by the heat. We still managed to get in all the sights and i'm glad we went with a private tour as opposed to going it on our own, it was way too hot to be wasting time figuring transport out. As soon as we booked clear intructions were sent to both e-mail and whatsapp explaining what to bring, how to dress and what to expect. So helpful.
The guide, Bobby was an incredible guide. He taught us all the details of the temples and at the end reccomended us place to eat and even ended up booking us for us a very nice terrace with awesome views of the river and temples.

Excellent! We LOVED our guide, Ms Mam! She was kind, caring and so knowledgeable .She taught us so much about the Grand Palace, the temples, Thai history, culture, and customs. She even made sure that we made it to the free show after our tour and recommended a fantastic place for lunch.
