Full description

This is a 3-hour experience from Bangkok, built around Wat Phra Kaew, Tuk tuk and Wat Pho. It is run by Grandness Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.

The price covers Private tour guide, Tuk-tuk car, Ferry and Drinking water. It does not cover Grand Palace admission fee: 500 baht/person, Wat Pho admission fee: 300 baht/person and Wat Arun admission fee: 200 baht/person, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Golden Place (Tha Chang Pier Branch). We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Grandness Tour before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

We had such a great time on this tour! It was well-organized, and the experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Our tour guide, Ms. Irin, was incredibly friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable. She shared so many interesting facts and stories that kept us engaged the entire time—it definitely wasn’t a boring tour! You could really tell she was passionate about what she does. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an informative and enjoyable experience. Thank you for making our trip even more memorable!

Irin was a wonderful guide! She’s very knowledgeable plus has a sweet demeanor. She knew all the shortcuts, was happy to take a million pictures, and made sure we were accommodated- including helping us get a Grab back to our hotel. It was an amazing tour of Bangkok temple highlights! I’d highly recommend this tour with Irin!!

Miss Kaojao was incredibly nice and sweet. She was very knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to help connecting Thai culture and history through the visit! The experience was more than worth the price…. Which was much reasonable.

Irin was a fantastic guide, she knew so much about the temples of Bangkok and she was really lovely! She was very kind and helped me to take photos in front of the locations as I was alone. She was very kind and funny and if I go to Bangkok again I would love to do another tour with her because she’s an amazing guide. Thank you for an amazing tour :) Highly recommended :)

Irin was lovely and very patient with us when we arrived late and flustered by the heat. We still managed to get in all the sights and i'm glad we went with a private tour as opposed to going it on our own, it was way too hot to be wasting time figuring transport out. As soon as we booked clear intructions were sent to both e-mail and whatsapp explaining what to bring, how to dress and what to expect. So helpful.

Heel relaxed met privé gids. Je kan zelf aangeven hoe lang je ergens wil blijven. En ze vraagt ook of je veel geschiedenis wil weten. Onze gids heette Ireen. Heel aardig en leuk. Top toer !!

Excellent! We LOVED our guide, Ms Mam! She was kind, caring and so knowledgeable .She taught us so much about the Grand Palace, the temples, Thai history, culture, and customs. She even made sure that we made it to the free show after our tour and recommended a fantastic place for lunch. I highly recommend this tour and and hope you are lucky enough to have a guide as amazing as Ms Mam

Shoulders and knees covered, for men and women, and no ripped jeans, vest tops or leggings; the Grand Palace turns people away at the gate and hires out sarongs. Shoes come off in every building with a Buddha image, so slip-ons save time. Sit with your feet pointing away from the Buddha and do not climb on any statue for a photo.
