Full description
This is a 7.5-hour experience from Bangkok, built around Bus/coach, Maeklong Railway Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. It is run by DiscoverEase Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples sit side by side across Japan and the etiquette differs slightly: at a shrine, bow at the torii, rinse hands and mouth at the water basin, then bow twice, clap twice, bow once at the hall; at a temple, no clapping, hands together, and incense if it is offered. Photography is fine outside and usually not inside halls. Zen meditation sessions, zazen, are taught at several Kyoto and Tokyo temples in 30 to 60 minute sittings with the posture explained; a shukubo temple stay adds the morning service and vegetarian shojin ryori. Shoes come off at every hall.
The price covers guide, Air Conditioned Vehicle and Boat ride at the Floating Market. It does not cover Personal Expenses, Lunch and Donation at Wat Sam Phran, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
DiscoverEase Tours sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with DiscoverEase Tours before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Our day trip was amazing! Our tour guide, Nice, really kind and careful. Thank you so much!
The trip is great if you want to do shopping, because you will have plenty of time both at the railway and floating market. The dragon temple is also very impressive and there are other attractions in the temple territory
the tour : 6:35 meet up, 8:20 first stop - 1 hour to explore the Market + pictures,9:50 second stop - 20 minutes boat ride +1 hour to explore +pictures,12:20 last stop - 1 hour to explore temple + pictures, 13:30 drive back to bangkok. Our guide miss Nice messaged me all details day before thru WhatsApp. Once we were in a car she told us a bit of information about the places, gave us water and local fruit. car was air-conditioned. first stop - railway market- for pictures and souvenirs, second stop-Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - ride in a boat but mostly shopping for souvenirs and last stop
Very nice tour with Nice our guide. It was our second tour here, and we understand now why it's called land of smile here :) The tour is also very interesting and except the fact that the floating market is more selling "tourist souvenirs" (quite still interesting , but not what I expected), the railway market is more traditional and very impressive. Anyway both are worth to see and to be experienced. The finish with the Dragon Temple is also very interesting as temple is harder to reach without a driven tour. Thx again to Nice and to the driver for this excellent day and experience ! :)
It was amazing! Nice was a very caring guide and was on top of the details the whole time.
Nice was such a good guide!! She really made the tour great.
Excellent trip. Nice was a brilliant guide, very kind and informative. Pick up was on time. Plenty of time at each of the sights.
So happy with this one, worth every penny! Ms. Nice (the guide) was indeed very nice to us, she’s so good at her work, made my day! Recommend you this one guys.
Our tour guide Oil was friendly and genuinely kind. Car was air conditioned and was a sick ass ride. Locations were amazing. A++++++ would totally recommend. She gave you the space you needed at each location too.
It was very organized, small group (only 7 people. Oil was very nice, very clear with all the directions though she didn’t give a lot of information. They take you to each place, she gives some information, then you have one hour free, you go back to the bus continue to next destination and repeat. I travel normally by myself and specially to this touristic sites, but the logistics of visiting the places in this itinerary where a little bit difficult so I went for this one and felt like it was worth it.
The guide is lovely. Good experience and I like she give you your own space and time too.
The trip was very educational and fun. The guide was very helpful and interactive. She made the whole experience interesting. I’ll recommend for everyone to book this trip.
