Full description
This is a 1.5-hour experience in Bangkok. It is run by OHM, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japanese craft classes are taught by practitioners who have usually done the craft for decades, and they teach it properly: calligraphy begins with how to hold the brush and grind the ink; pottery on the wheel produces a cup that is fired and posted to you weeks later; ikebana teaches the three-line structure of a Sogetsu or Ikenobo arrangement; indigo dyeing and washi papermaking are done in the workshops of the towns that specialise in them. Classes run one to three hours, materials are included, and most welcome children with a parent.
The price covers Sterling silver 925 material - Ring 2mm width up to size 8, Engraving up to 8 characters, Ring packaging, Certificate of Creation and Drinking water. It does not cover Advanced/custom ring designs or upgrades beyond the basic, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
OHM sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with OHM before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Wir haben zu zweit einen Workshop gebucht. Der Prozess wurde genau erklärt und es hat uns viel Spaß gemacht die Ringe zu schleifen und zu formen. Am Ende wurden die Ringe noch für uns graviert. Die Aufpreise zu breiteren Ringen sind nicht teuer, es sollte jedoch beachtet werden, dass wenn man eine größere Ringgröße braucht, man auch dafür einen Aufpreis zahlt. Insgesamt war es eine sehr schöne und interessante Erfahrung!
