Full description

This is a 12-hour experience in Bangkok, built around Wat Traimit, Chinatown Bangkok (Yaowarat) and Nai Mong Fry Oyster. It is run by Pattaya Guide Travel, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japanese food tours work because the best places are small, unmarked and full of regulars, and a guide who orders for you opens them. An izakaya crawl covers yakitori, sashimi, karaage and the local pours of sake, shochu and highballs across three or four counters in an evening; a ramen walk explains the broths, tonkotsu, shoyu, miso and shio, and the regional styles. Most places seat eight to twelve and tours run six to eight guests for that reason. Vegetarians should say so when booking, because dashi stock is fish and hidden in almost everything; halal-certified options exist but are fewer.

The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off in Pattaya, Air-conditioned vehicle transport, guide, Admission to Wat Traimit and Admission to Grand Palace area and Wat Pho. It does not cover Alcoholic beverages, Personal expenses and Gratuities, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Pattaya City. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Pattaya Guide Travel before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
