Aum was very attentive, knowledgeable, and pointed out all the interesting marine animals, especially nudibranchs, eels, and sharks, etc. The ship Mandarin Queen was spacious and well equipped, and the deck hands were helpful. The meals and snacks were also delicious. The itinerary was well planned, and I would come back again. Highly recommended.

It was an awesome diving day trip. Everything was really well-organized and the dive sites chosen were great. The boat was comfortable and clean, and although I can be prone to seasickness at times, I felt good the whole trip (it‘s a relatively stable large ship with nice free food and drinks). Nigel, my diving guide, was great to talk to and made the trip even more fun. Could not recommend this experience more, especially if Nigel is your dive guide.

Yes. Hotel pickup in Phuket. Aum Scuba confirms your pickup time and the exact spot once the booking is in. The collection window is usually a little wider than a fixed minute, because the driver is working a route around several hotels.
The price does not cover alcoholic drinks (available to purchase), underwater photos, scuba diving equipment (500thb per person) payable on the day in cash and dive computer (300thb per person) payable on the day in cash. Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Not in rough sea. The Andaman side is calm from November to April and choppy from May to October, when the marine office can close the piers at short notice; if that happens the operator moves you to the next day or refunds in full. Seasickness tablets the night before help on speedboats, and Maya Bay itself closes to visitors in August and September each year.
We confirm your booking with the operator before we treat it as final, and we need at least one day's notice. Once it is confirmed you get the meeting point, the time and a contact number for the day. If the operator cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
