Day 1 : Rachaprapa dam (Chiewlam lake)

Begin with a long-tail boat journey across Cheow Lan Lake, passing dramatic limestone formations and hidden corners of the reservoir. After checking in to the floating accommodation, enjoy free time to swim, kayak, sunbathe, or simply relax surrounded by nature. Afternoon, head into the jungle on a moderate trek to a lagoon before continuing by bamboo raft to Coral Cave before trekking back to the lake. Evening, enjoy another boat ride and evening safari followed by dinner at the raft house.

Day 2 Morning Safari

Rise early the following morning for a boat safari across the mist-covered lake. With some luck, you may spot wildlife such as gibbons or wild elephants, although sightings are naturally unpredictable. After breakfast, check out and return by long-tail boat before heading back to Khao Sok.

The price does not cover personal expenses, additional food and drinks, gratuities and optional tips and khao sok national park fee (340 thb for adults and 170 thb for children), pay cash on spot. Everything it does cover is listed in full on this page, so if something is not on that list, budget for it separately.
Not in rough sea. The Andaman side is calm from November to April and choppy from May to October, when the marine office can close the piers at short notice; if that happens the operator moves you to the next day or refunds in full. Seasickness tablets the night before help on speedboats, and Maya Bay itself closes to visitors in August and September each year.
