Jaipur is well-connected and easy to reach from Delhi, Agra, and other major Indian cities.
By Air: Jaipur International Airport (JAI) receives direct flights from Delhi (1 hour), Mumbai (2 hours), Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. International connections via Delhi or Mumbai.
By Train: The Vande Bharat Express and Shatabdi Express from Delhi take approximately 4–4.5 hours. The Ajmer Shatabdi is the most popular service. From Agra, trains take 4–5 hours via the Delhi-Mumbai line.
By Road: The Delhi-Jaipur Expressway (NH-48) makes the 280 km drive possible in 4.5–5 hours. This is the most popular option for Golden Triangle tours. From Agra, the drive takes approximately 4 hours via the Agra-Jaipur Highway (NH-21).
From the airport/station: Pre-book an Uber or Ola to your hotel. Avoid negotiating with taxi drivers outside the station — use the prepaid taxi counter or ride-hailing apps for fair, metered rates.
