Full description
This is a 9-hour experience in Phuket. It is run by Oh-Hoo, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Arashiyama, on Kyoto's western edge, is the bamboo grove, the Togetsukyo bridge over the Katsura river, the gardens of Tenryu-ji and the monkey park on the hill above. The bamboo path is about 500 metres and is photographed empty in every guidebook because those photographs are taken before 7:30; by mid-morning it is a procession. Rickshaw runs, the Sagano scenic railway along the gorge, and boat rides down the Hozu rapids all start here. Autumn colour peaks in the second half of November and cherry blossom around the first week of April.
The price covers Round trip transfer from Kata, Karon, Phuket Town, Kathu, Thai food lunch, Life jacket, Tour guide for briefing and rafting training and First aid kit. It does not cover Extra transfer charge of 200THB/PAX from Chalong, Rawai, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Oh-Hoo sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Oh-Hoo before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Full day loved the rafting it was the highlight of the day make sure you stop for a swim the water is not too cold and is so clear The turtle sanctuary and tsunami memorial was good to see My daughter had never been on an atv before and loved the experience, it was a little tame for the guys and I was a little disappointed in the view I was expecting to atv through Thailand forest and it didn’t really feel that way. Lunch was very very nice Waterfall was ok only a small one, the swim was better with the rafting Monkey temple was also good to see with quite a few cheeky monkeys Our guide was lo
The full activity was very good a full day of adventure . Did not like that fact some of the group rode the elephants as I feel that’s wrong and shouldn’t be advertised but apart from that it was fun :)
The whole day was brilliant. Bamboo rafting and swimming was beautiful. Our river guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about the river and wildlife. Very serene. The ATV experience was fun. Great tour with a great host and driver.
Great transportation and a lot of freedom to do your own thing
It was amazing we loved every activity and the people that took us there were great! The guide was amazing, he doesn’t speak fluent English but he makes sure that you understand and he explained everything in our tour! Great job to him!
Absolutely fantastic! Bamboo rafting was wonderful, as was waterfall. Guides were amazing great value! Food so good too!
The activities were great especially the Bamboo Rafting. I felt there were too many of us doing the ATV whoch meant that for me it was very slow and people were not used to them maybe should have been split into who has rode one before and has experience. The monkeys were thoroughly entertaining and glad we got the chance to feed them. The cave with the Buddha in was fantastic and very unique. The food on offer was excellent and included. Best food yet on any trips.
Had an amazing day. The bamboo rafting and ATV was awesome. The driver spoke very little English and we had to pick the guide up on the way which I thought was a little odd. Overall we had a great day
this was a nice trip however it did not say that there was a 3 hour drive to the first stop. the bamboo rafting was lovely but be prepared for a wet bum and feet. lunch was very nice, hot and fresh buffett and all the staff included in the day were amazing and helpful Unkown to me part of this tour included an Elephant ride. I strongly belive that this should be taken out of the tour . Myself and my partner did not partake in it due to ethical reasons. It has been proven that riding elephants is detrimental to them. not to mention the conditions they were left in, tied to a tree when not being
The activity was pretty good. Interesting rafting with bamboo sticks and ATV activity.
This was amazing, we had to change schedule due to weather but still managed to do everything as we booked. As we went in May the weather wasn’t the best so we started with bamboo rafting (recommend to bring spare clothes or a towel) before the rain was due to start. The ATVs was good, definitely recommend to pay extra for this option but was very muddy due to the rain. The waterfall wasn’t worth it in my opinion but was a nice space to have lunch and some free time. We then went to see elephants but this wasn’t ethical at all and the staff were visibly hitting the elephants so we did not take
It was a little chaotic with 2 different guides and the people in our group doing different things. We had to wait a while for the other group to finish. It was not memorable
