This is a 1.5-hour experience in Phuket. It is run by Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Sumo has six fifteen-day tournaments a year, in Tokyo in January, May and September, Osaka in March, Nagoya in July and Fukuoka in November; tickets for the top division from about 15:00 are the hard ones to get. Outside tournaments, morning practice at a stable can be watched with a guide who knows which stables allow it and the strict etiquette. Kabuki at the Kabukiza in Ginza sells single-act tickets on the day for an hour of the four-hour programme, with an English earphone guide. Baseball at the Tokyo Dome or Koshien is a summer evening with the crowd's synchronised chants.

Highly recommend this trip! Tida our guide was amazing - it was great to learn about the sanctuary and the elephant situation in Thailand. Our family really enjoyed every minute and did not feel rushed at all. Be ready to get your hands dirty preparing the food but it’s all part of the experience :) This excursion is perfect for all ages!

A genuine once in a life time experience to get up close to these wonderful creatures who are so well treated and cared for at the Sanctuary (they are all rescues). Everything about this trip went smoothly from the hotel collection to our return. Nice touch that the refreshments onsite are provided for free. Highly recommended!!
This was an excellent experience from start to finish. Pick up and transport there and back was first class. The guide and staff were friendly and very informative and the elephants were just amazing. What a treat for young and old alike to feed and wash these magnificent creatures so close up. Loads of photos taken and the sanctuary photographer took loads too and will send them by email as included in price. Top marks for experience and value Steve
It was so fun to spend time with the elephants and learning about the sanctuary. If you want to spend time with elephants ethically you should definetely come to this.

We had a very interesting and enjoyable experience at the elephant sanctuary. The activity was well organized, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions or curiosities we had about the elephants. It was great to learn more about these amazing animals and their behavior. The elephants are very well cared for and appear healthy, relaxed, and happy. You can clearly see the attention and respect given to their welfare. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Phuket and looking for an ethical and educational encounter with elephants.

The tour was brilliant from start to finish! To be able to get that close to the elephants to feed them and shower/clean them was just amazing. Highly recommend a visit!
Amazing experience, very edcational and you can tell the elephants are very well taken care of. 5 elephants to a small group of people was amazing, free towels to use and water and fruit. highly recommend
