This is a 2-day experience from Phuket, built around Cruise and jungle walk at the lake. It is run by Khaolak Planner, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
The price covers Hotel pickup and drop-off, Air-conditioned transportation, Cheow Lan Lake boat tour with fees, National Park fee and Meals. It does not cover Tips and Alcoholic drinks, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Drive to Khao Sok National Park, Photo stop at Khao Sok
Enjoy the convenience of being picked up early in the morning from an address in Khao Lak / Khao Sok / Phuket. Kick back and relax in an air-conditioned van on the drive to the Khao Sok National Park. Stop to snap photos of the morning mist and lush evergreen forest from the Khao Sok Viewpoint.
Swim at Nam Rad Watershed, Cheow Lan Lake boat tour, lunch
Arrive at the Nam Rad Watershed, a unique watershed forest where you can swim in a crystal-clear creek and soak up the greenery. Continue to Cheow Lan Lake for a boat tour to the highlights of the lake along the way to the raft house. Dig into a local lunch at the raft house.
Arrive and sunset wildlife boat tour
Check in to the charming floating bungalows with breathtaking views of Cheow Lan Lake. In the late afternoon, board a boat and admire the stunning area in the glow of the setting sun. Look for bright birds, reptiles, and some mammals.
Dinner and stargazing at the floating bungalows
Return to the raft house for dinner and have free time to gaze up at the stars and breathe in the fresh air. Get some rest for your next adventure-filled day. Accommodation: You will stay at either Phupa Waree Raft House, Laguna Cheow Lan, or Keereewarin Rafthouse, depending on availability. The bungalow is air-conditioned with a private toilet and shower. Electricity is available from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m
Take a kayak tour and have breakfast
Wake up with a cup of coffee and the view, or take a kayak out to soak up the morning scenery as the sun rises from behind the mountain peaks which loom over the jungle. Fill up with a hearty breakfast before packing up and checking out.
Cruise and jungle walk at the lake
Cruise through the lake to different beautiful points of the lake. Set off jungle walking along the 2-3 km trail. Our guide will help you get acquainted with flora and fauna. Enjoy the sound of the jungle before walking back.

Visit Diamond Cave, and Three Brother Pillars the landmark of the lake. Get back to the pier.
Lunch at local restaurant, transfer back

Our Guide Perry was amazing. Spotting every animal years before we could. Altough we were unfortunate with the weather on the second day it was still one of the most amazing experiences in my life. Seeing an Elephant, Gnus, Deer and many more animals in their natural surroundings was mindblowing. The floating houses were amazing too. Good views, good food had all you could wish for.
We had an absolute blast even though it rained most of our time (we knew since it was rainy seeason). Our guide, Jojo, was the BEST! He made us laugh the entire day! He was very knowledgeable and the best videographer to capture all the memories for us. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and crew for the trip. Such humble and genuine souls! Our only regret is that we should have done the two nights instead of one! KHOB KHUN KHA!
This was an incredible experience!! Our guide Peri was amazing ! She was knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable, fed and happy with the tour and accommodations. We had the opportunity to see wildlife- an elephant, water buffalo swimming between islands, a deer, lemurs, hornbills and other birds and lizards. So glad we joined the tour and so lucky to have her as a guide !

An amazing experience, we were able to see monkeys, gibbons, hornbills and even a wild elephant on the boat safaris. We were all looked after so well by our guide Oil and everything was extremely well organised.
Our guide, Pairi was so enthusiastic. From the moment we met her (7am) her knowledge, unbridled enthusiasm and sense of humour made our 24 hours with her memorable. Peri was an excellent guide, her knowledge and passion about Cheow Lan Lake and the wildlife there (particularly elephants and bison) was infectious and endearing. I’d highly recommend doing this tour, especially if it is with the wonderful Peri! The accommodation was one of the best we have stayed in while in Thailand, with AC and good traditional Thai home foods.
The tour description is lacking clarify on where it will take place. So for those who wonder where it is going to take place - the answer is the area of Du Lịch Kho Mường Village and Bat Cave that is located within it. The trekking route is great and is not too complex nor too trivial. It also allows you enjoy some great scenic views over terraced rice fields, take great pictures, etc. Guide speaks good English (rare thing in Vietnam) and was sharing lots of interesting information throughout the tour.
