Full description

This is a 6-hour experience from Phuket, built around Visitor center, View point and Secret stop. It is run by Jungle Trek Phi Phi Islands, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

The price covers guide, National park fee, Viewpoint access fees, Snacks and Cocktail. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

Jungle Trek Phi Phi Islands. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Jungle Trek Phi Phi Islands before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

We were the only ones on the trek so got very personalised attention from our guide Romaine. He was friendly, informative and diligent in looking out for us. Views were amazing and walking pace was perfect. Magical sunset on the beach. Just be aware that the climb up and back from the beach requires more agility than advertised. Very glad we had trail shoes on

The best tour we could have booked in Koh Phi Phi! We had the best guide Eduarda! She is so kind and watched every step we took. The first 2 viewpoints are hard to reach in the heat but every viewpoint is so worth it. For the 4th point you have to walk through the jungle which is a 40 min walk. It’s so fun and we did see some monkeys which we quickly passed to respect them. We had enough brakes to enjoy the views, buy water or food along the whole tour. Before swimming with plankton (which was the absolut highlight!!) you enjoy a beautiful sunset at Nui Beach. Until everyone leaves you enjoy a

This was a great all around experience. I wasn't sure what to expect but honestly it went above and beyond when it came to amount of things you got to see and the vibes with everyone on the trek. I would recommend to anyone but be ready for a little workout.

Very nice views and trekking through the jungle to the other side of the island was fun. Spent awhile swimming at a nice bay and then saw bioluminescent plankton. Note: you might want to bring a waterproof bag or water shoes as I couldnt wade through the water carry my bag to the boat in my flip flops without getting my bag wet. Luckily Pierre was a legend and carried my bag to the boat for me.

This was way more of an adventure than I’d planned for. Rafa was fun and very informative. The hike up the steps at the beginning was not the toughest part. Bring lots of bug spray. The mosquitoes are horrible throughout the jungle. It was high tide so we ended up wading through chest high water with bags held over our heads to keep our electronics safe. Then you have to go almost vertically up a mountain holding onto a rope. At this point I was really wishing we’d just ended our portion of the hike in Phi Phi Village. The trek was redeemed with the amazing sunset on a secluded beach. Thankful

Un super moment, notre guide Romain (je crois ?) était hyper intéressant et sympa. La petite rando dans la forêt au top, et la plage finale une super récompense, surtout avec le plancton bioluminescent, magique !

It was fun! Our guide, Roman, was super sweet and helpful. The first 45 mins are rough going uphill but the jungle descent and beach finish make it worth the effort. If you’re looking for really noticeable plankton this probably isn’t for you but you can see enough of it for it to still feel magical. Plus being out on the water under the stars on a private boat is special in its own right. Good way to see a different side of the island. I would recommend!

Really lovely guide and a great day in general. Climbing to the viewpoints can be tough! But worth it. Loved being the last ones on the beach until sunset, absolutely gorgeous. Definitely bring water shoes and be aware you have to wade to your waist. Also have to climb a vertical hill which can be tricky! Loved it though!

Amazing tour with an amazing guide who had a lot of knowledge about the island, the animals, the locals, history and flora all around us. We were warm welcomed and had a lot of fun during the trip. Be aware to bring mosquito spray since they are more agressive in the jungle. De big stair climb at the beginning was a bit challenging, but everybody could do it in their own tempo. In the jungle we spotted a few monkeys and swimming with plankton was very cool too! We would definitely recommend the Jungle Trek!

The dry season from November to April offers the best weather for island-hopping tours and beach activities. December to March is peak season with calm seas, perfect for Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay boat trips. May to October (monsoon) is quieter and cheaper but some boat tours may be affected by rough seas. See our Phuket travel guide for detailed month-by-month advice.

Standard precautions apply: use reputable transport, stay aware in crowded areas, and book verified tours through trusted platforms. For water activities, all our tours include safety equipment and experienced crew.
The top experiences include: the Phi Phi Islands for snorkeling and Maya Bay, Phang Nga Bay for dramatic limestone cliffs and James Bond Island, the Big Buddha for panoramic views, Wat Chalong temple, and the charming Phuket Old Town for street food and Sino-Portuguese architecture. See our things to do guide for the complete list.
Yes! Direct flights between Phuket and Bangkok take just 1 hour 20 minutes. We recommend 3–4 days in Phuket for island tours, then 2–3 days in Bangkok for temples, markets, and street food. Our local guides operate in both cities for seamless trip planning.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering water sports before booking any speedboat tour or island-hopping excursion. While all our boats carry safety equipment and licensed crews, Thai hospital costs can be significant without coverage. Ensure your policy covers emergency medical evacuation and water activity accidents.
