I booked the two hour ride which promised independent riding and instruction as, although rusty, I have quite of experience. I imagined the very expensive price tag would be justified by some expert assesment of, and guidance on, my riding skills. I got none of this and was simply told that since I didn't know the horse, and she didn't know me, the horse would be on a leading rein. I have nothing but sympathy for the poor chap doing the leading. From what I could gather he spends many hours a day leading horses (or just the one horse) through the rubber plantations for very little compensation
