Full description
This is a 6-hour experience in Phuket. It is run by Oh-Hoo, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
The price covers Round-trip transfer from Kata, Karon, Tri Trang, Patong, Fresh fruit and water during the trek, Lunch and a soft drink after the trek, National Park fee of 200 THB per person and Insurance. It does not cover Extra transfer charge of 400 THB per person, Solo transfer fee from Kata, Karon, Tri Trang, Patong and Gratuities, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Oh-Hoo sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Oh-Hoo before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
The trek was a very pleasant surprise. The tour guide, Khun Bina, was excellent. She kept us engaged and kept us going:) The flora and the fauna is absolutely gorgeous, and the swim at the falls at the end was so refreshing. All in all, it’s a moderate trek, however lots of steep climbs up as well as down! I had forgotten to carry a backpack, but they were kind enough to loan me one!! All in all, highly recommended
I had a very good time. Obviously I would have liked to see some animals but since we weren't in a zoo...that's how it went. The guide (I humbly apologize but I can't write her name) was competent and very nice, she made us have a nice day. Thank you very much!
Everything was perfect! The guides were amazing (it was Lee and another one but we don't remember the name of the second guide) and we really enjoyed our experience!! We learned a lot, it is so worth the price, and the lunch was also delicious. I really recommend it!
everything was amazing! the hike was great, the guide told us a lot about different plants and animals. we saw snakes, spiders, gibbons and many other! thank you.
Very beautiful hike through nature with some nice natural pools for bathing on the way. definitely my top activity in phuket so far.
An incredible hike tour. It's a challenging but extremely fun walk. Our tour guide, Pui, is among the elite. She's a walking encyclopedia who has deeply researched flora, fauna and the history of the island.
Our guide (Dao) spoke really good English. She was very nice and funny and explained a lot. The jungle was amazing but the path sometimes slippery. Swimming in the water ponds was the best!
Soda was an amazing guide and we had so much fun! The sights were amazing and the fun facts from Soda were super informative along the way. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent Any chance to get the photo made by our guide?
The driver taking us there was excellent. When he left us at the destination, the tour people were not overly excited to see/greet us. It all felt a little strange. When we started the walk, our guide was not very talkative and I felt she did not really ant to be there but she became much more engaging when the white dog appeared. From then on it was great, if a little fast paced in areas which was not great due to the really rough ground (at least 2 out of our 10 fell). I think the tour should state that you need to be fit as there is a steep climb at the start of which even took my breath aw
We loved it! Beautiful and informative!
