This is a 8.5-hour experience in Phuket, built around Royal Phuket Marina, Catamaran and Maya Bay. It is run by Thailand Escapes, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Arashiyama, on Kyoto's western edge, is the bamboo grove, the Togetsukyo bridge over the Katsura river, the gardens of Tenryu-ji and the monkey park on the hill above. The bamboo path is about 500 metres and is photographed empty in every guidebook because those photographs are taken before 7:30; by mid-morning it is a procession. Rickshaw runs, the Sagano scenic railway along the gorge, and boat rides down the Hozu rapids all start here. Autumn colour peaks in the second half of November and cherry blossom around the first week of April.

Pickup is offered from Khao Lak and Phuket; the exact spot and time are agreed with Thailand Escapes once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.

We had Jeffery as our guide today on boat L4. He was so helpful and very welcoming, as well as the rest of his crew. He also took time to remember our names which was a good marker ! I recommend 100%, we had a lovely time

All the journey was wonderful with this amazing stop on Maya Bay. The Crew is perfect. The wether was with us to make some unforgettable pictures. The last stop on Bamboo island is ridiculous compared to what we did before. We are like the future mind kind in the movie WALL-E : big fat people in a life jacket all together parked in the same area (a spacecraft ?) where all the world is wide open for us.

Amazing day from start to finish. Everything was well organised and the islands were beautiful with time for swimming and snorkeling. We were in the grey team and Bella was amazing she went above and beyond to look after everyone and made it really fun. Thank you to everyone for all of the special memories it was amazing!!!

Wir hatten uns eigentlich auf Grund der Bewertungen für diese Tour entschieden weil es angeblich eine Tour mit wenig Personen werden sollte . Wirr waren ca 60 Menschen auf dem Boot.Genau das wollten wir nicht. Die Inseln als solches sind toll und wir hatten uns auch auf eine Menge Menschen eingestellt,aber diese Massen vor Ort übertrafefen alles .Das Zeitmanagement war sehr knapp bemessen.Das Essen Naja .... Die Guides haben ihr Programm durchgezogen,mehr nicht!!

The Andaman side is calm from November to April and choppy from May to October, when the marine office can close the piers at short notice; if that happens the operator moves you to the next day or refunds in full.
