Taj Mahal

Shah Jahan begann ihn 1632, im Jahr nachdem Mumtaz Mahal bei der Geburt ihres vierzehnten Kindes gestorben war. Zwanzigtausend Arbeiter, zweiundzwanzig Jahre, und weißer Marmor über 400 km aus Makrana in Rajasthan.

Und die eine bewusste Asymmetrie in einer millimetergenau gespiegelten Komposition: Shah Jahans eigenes Kenotaph, von Aurangzeb außerhalb der Mittelachse gesetzt.

Agra Fort

Bei den umfassenderen Optionen: Akbars Stadt aus rotem Sandstein von 1565 mit Shah Jahans Marmorpalästen darin, und der Musamman Burj, wo Aurangzeb seinen Vater acht Jahre gefangen hielt, mit dem Taj in Sicht am Fluss.

We had a wonderful visit to the Taj Mahal. The monument is even more beautiful in real life than in the pictures. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the history behind it made the experience very special. Our guide was kind and explained many interesting details, which helped us understand the place better. Everything was well organized, and we really enjoyed the moment. It was truly a memorable experience, and we are very happy we came.

It was an excellent experience from our guide Mr Imran where he made us experience a fabulous journey in the Taj. His knowledge towards the monument was impeccable and the way he delivered the facts were amazing and kept us in awe. His commitment towards the guest's interest is really appreciable. We loved the Handicraft shop that he took us.

Imran was excellent. He was polite, professional and patient. We felt safe and comfortable as he guided us through an amazing tour of the Taj Mahal. The tour included a stop at an artisan shop and he organised some lovely pictures to remember our experience.

I definitely recommend this tour! Our tour guide was wonderful! If you can book the tour with Iman Khan I definitely recommend him. He definitely knew all the history related to the Taj Mahal. He was super courteous and professional.
