Von Jaipur zum Taj für den Sonnenaufgang

Jaipur nach Agra sind 240 km, vier bis fünf Stunden über Bharatpur. Um zur Toröffnung dort zu sein, fährt man mitten in der Nacht los, was unvernünftig klingt und der einzige Weg ist, den Sonnenaufgang ohne Hotelwechsel zu bekommen.

Sonnenaufgang am Taj

Die Tore öffnen eine halbe Stunde vor der Sonne. Der Marmor erscheint erst grau, dann rosa, dann kalt weiß, während das Licht über das gegenüberliegende Ufer der Yamuna kommt; im Dezember und Januar liegt Nebel auf dem Fluss hinter der Kuppel, und die Menge ist ein Fünftel dessen, was sie bis zum späten Vormittag wird.

Shah Jahan begann ihn 1632, im Jahr nachdem Mumtaz Mahal bei der Geburt ihres vierzehnten Kindes gestorben war. Zwanzigtausend Arbeiter, zweiundzwanzig Jahre, und Marmor über 400 km aus Makrana herangekarrt, denselben rajasthanischen Steinbrüchen, die die Hälfte des Marmors geliefert haben, den Sie in Jaipur gesehen haben werden.

Akbars Stadt aus rotem Sandstein von 1565 mit den Marmorpalästen seines Enkels darin: der Diwan-i-Am, der Sheesh Mahal, und der Musamman Burj, der Turm, in dem dieser Enkel seine letzten acht Jahre als Gefangener verbrachte und flussabwärts auf das Grabmal blickte, das er hatte bauen lassen.

Saif was great guide in Taj Mahaj we learn a lot of things about Indian culture and we enjoyed our time. We got early just in time to the sunrise and after that Agra Forte and also some jewelry shops. I highly recommended. Also the driver was very nice Nand we picked us on time and the trip was safe. Thank you

We loved our guide and all of his interesting, unique facts. He was very charasmatic and accommodating and answered ALL of our questions. We also loved that he gave us space to do our own thing and arrange to our personal ongoing needs seamlessly. He offered us opportunities to see some handicraftsmen and also opt out when we weren’t feeling it. The driver was really good too, we felt comfortable the whole time. HHe was even early to pick us up! The car was top notch, great AC, leather seats, with plenty of space for 5 people!

Thank you so much for our guide Saif ! It was an amazing day. The driver picked us up at 2AM and we went to see Taj Mahal around 6AM. It was beautiful with the sunrise and we skip most of the crowd. After that we went for a nice breakfast at a local restaurant, then to a local shop for beautiful jewelry. We finished the tour with the visit of Agra fort and lunch.

Saif was a great tour guide. He met our driver who took us from Jaipur at 5:40am and we were one of first ones into the Taj Mahal. He was laid back and informative. He took excellent pictures of our group. He knew all of the history and got us around town.

It was amazing. The driver picked us up early in the morning and drove us to Agra. We arrived at around 6.00 am and we went straight to the Taj Mahal then to Agra Fort with the guide, Amit jha. The tour guide explained the story of the place very well, and helped us take photos. The photos he took with our phone was very beautiful and very professional. Overall it’s an amazing piece experience. Very recommended!

Akbar has been an awesome guide. He made my visit as a solo female traveller, very efficient and comfortable. Akbar is very knowledgeable and has gone out of his way for me. Akbar’s pace allowed me to have sufficient time at the attractions to absorb the atmosphere. I didn’t have to worry about anything.

The driver was fantastic too - stopping for coffee and driving safely so I could get some sleep. Was an amazing time! Definitely bring some spending money to buy some gorgeous art pieces as well
