La mayoría de las visitas a Agra se construyen sobre una secuencia histórica y fotografías cuando puedes. Esta le da la vuelta: la ruta, el orden y los horarios los marca dónde hay buena luz y dónde no hay multitud, y la historia va en segundo lugar.
Adónde vas
Los encuadres evidentes, bien hechos: la cúpula enmarcada en la Gran Puerta, el reflejo completo en el canal de agua, el banco, y la plataforma de mármol vista desde abajo.
Y luego los que marcan la diferencia. Mehtab Bagh al otro lado del río, donde el Taj queda centrado entre sus minaretes y los trípodes sí están permitidos. La terraza junto al río dentro del recinto, por la que la mayoría de los visitantes pasa de largo. El fuerte de Agra, donde el Musamman Burj enmarca el Taj a través de un arco, a distancia. Itimad-ud-Daulah, cuya incrustación se fotografía mejor de cerca que cualquier cosa del Taj, porque puedes acercarte. Y los callejones y mercados de la ciudad vieja, de donde salen las fotos de Agra y no solo de monumentos.
