El Taj desde el agua, algo que casi nadie hace.
El Taj se diseñó para ser abordado desde el río. En tiempos de Shah Jahan los invitados llegaban en barca por el Yamuna, y la fachada fluvial, la del gran zócalo que se alza desde la orilla, era la primera vista prevista. La entrada por carretera y la Gran Puerta ganaron importancia después.
Esta visita te devuelve al agua. Una barca pequeña recorre el tramo que queda detrás del monumento, lo que te da el edificio desde el ángulo para el que fue construido y una serie de fotografías que casi ningún otro visitante se lleva a casa.

El río es estacional. Tras un monzón flojo, el Yamuna puede bajar tanto que el tramo navegable sea corto o no esté disponible, y en los meses previos al monzón el nivel del agua está en su peor momento. Confirmamos las condiciones antes de tu fecha.
