Treinta mil personas al día en temporada

Esa es la cifra que la taquilla intenta atender en el momento de más afluencia, y por eso la cola para comprar una entrada puede durar más que el paseo hasta el monumento. Reservar por adelantado elimina esto del todo: sus entradas llegan por WhatsApp o correo electrónico, y usted va al carril de entrada.

No elimina el control de seguridad, que pasa a todo el mundo. Sin trípodes, sin drones, sin comida, sin bolsas grandes, sin mecheros. Taquillas en la puerta.

Lo que incluye la entrada

La entrada estándar del Taj cubre el recinto: la puerta, el jardín, la mezquita y el jawab, y la plataforma. La cámara del mausoleo en sí es un suplemento aparte de 200 ₹, y merece la pena: la celosía y los dos cenotafios están dentro, igual que la notable acústica de la cúpula.

Las tumbas reales están justo debajo, en la cripta, selladas, y nadie las visita.

Cubrezapatos

O se quita los zapatos en el zócalo o se pone las fundas de tela que se entregan con las entradas para extranjeros. Las dos cosas son normales, y el mármol en mayo está de verdad demasiado caliente para ir descalzo, así que lleve las fundas.

Con guía

En las opciones con guía, lo que conviene saber: la caligrafía labrada en tamaños crecientes para que se lea a la misma altura desde el suelo; las incrustaciones de pietra dura, hasta sesenta piedras por flor; los cuatro alminares, inclinados hacia fuera para que un terremoto los alejara de la tumba; y la única asimetría, el cenotafio de Shah Jahan, añadido fuera de eje por Aurangzeb.

Mohd Shahnawaz was an amazing guide! He picked us up from our hotel which was great! He was very kind and knowledgable about the Taj Mahal. He took many photos of us and answered all our questions! We also got to skip the queue for entry which made a big difference considering our tour was at 12pm! I would definitely recommend this English speaking guide for anyone wanting to learn all about the Taj Mahal! Thanks again Mohd you were awesome!!

There is no need to book through this service if you are not getting a guide. There is no such thing as “fast track” which I learnt when the tickets came through to me on WhatsApp! The man explained that foreign entry is the fast route. The government website is the exact same ticket except you’ve not had to pay someone to book it for you. I would not recommend this service for booking tickets to anyone going as it seems like a tourist trap.

Fast ganz ohne Anstehen und zügig durch die Sicherheitskontrolle ging es mit dem Führer zum Taj Mahal, ein wirklich eindrückliches Erlebnis, der Führer hat immer wieder sehr gut die Geschichte des Bauwerks erzählt, und gute Fotostops empfohlen. Sehr zu empfehlen herzlichen Dank an RYAS KHAN
