El Taj desde el otro lado del río

Esto no es la visita nocturna dentro del monumento, y conviene dejarlo claro antes de reservar. El Archaeological Survey abre el recinto del Taj en sí solo cinco noches al mes, en torno a la luna llena, con una entrada aparte y limitada, vendida en persona en la oficina del ASI en Agra el día anterior.

Lo que hace esta visita en su lugar es llevarle por la tarde a la orilla del Yamuna detrás del Taj, donde ve todo el edificio desde el otro lado del agua sin nadie delante.

Para muchos esa es la mejor foto, y sin duda la hora más tranquila.

El mirador

Un ghat en la orilla opuesta, al que se llega por carretera desde la ciudad. El Taj queda justo enfrente, sobre su zócalo, iluminado en los bordes y alumbrado por lo que haga la luna, con el río y los bancos de arena entre medio.

En una noche clara, el mármol retiene la luz de una forma que sale rara en foto, es translúcido hasta un centímetro aproximadamente, por eso parece resplandecer en lugar de simplemente estar iluminado.

Las aves llegan a los bancos de arena al anochecer. Es uno de los pocos lugares de verdad tranquilos a menos de un kilómetro de la tumba más visitada del mundo.

Su guía

La historia que tendría dentro: Shah Jahan, Mumtaz Mahal, los veintidós años, y la razón por la que el edificio está orientado así, el río formaba parte del diseño, con la tumba situada al final del jardín en lugar de en su centro para que se viera desde el agua.

Práctico

Unas tres horas con recogida en el hotel por la tarde.

La vista depende de la luna. Unas noches alrededor de la luna llena son la ventana; con luna nueva se obtiene una silueta y los focos.

Lleve una chaqueta de noviembre a febrero, y repelente de mosquitos cualquier mes, está en la orilla de un río al anochecer.

No se necesita entrada al monumento, porque no entra en el recinto.

muy buena la actividad realmente logramos unas fotos increíbles la vista es justo enfrente del Taj Mahal, nos llegaron a recoger al Hotel justo a la hora que no sabían indicado y luego de eso nos llevaron del otro lado del río es una actividad rápida fácil y muy bonita. Aslam Usmani fue nuestro guía. El nombre no se nos olvida nos lo repitió muchas veces y no se ayudó a tomarnos fotografías. Saben justo el lugar y la hora de donde hacerlo es ideal que sea con la luna llena.. aparte súper fácil porque el manejo del español fabuloso no tiene ningún inconveniente con eso. Así que si tienes la oportunidad de hacerlo tienen un par de horas libres en la noche Aprovechen
