Description complète

It was lovely. I wasn't expecting all that much from this outing, mostly booked it for convenience, but we were quite surprised by how good it was. Our tour guide, Javed Khan, quickly caught on to what amused us and adapted his style to fit our taste. He showed us a wild optical illusion of the Taj Mahal from the Agra fort (the Ebbinghaus illusion) and a very cool arch with hollow pillars where four people on corners could talk to each other by speaking into the wall. We would not have found either of these without him. Aside from these, his stories and history facts were also quite fascinating. And to top it off, he took us to a place where we got to see how the descendants of the artists who made the Taj Mahal are still carrying out the work - from cutting the stones to engraving the marbles to using homemade natural glue to fit the stones into the marble. Highly recommend.

The tour was rushed and was more focused on souvenirs to buy at the end

Not recommended, bad experience: (1) hotel pick-up was canceled, this we needed to find our own way to meeting point, (2) Agra fort & Mehtab Badh were not part of tour even though its description says otherwise, (3) our tour guide was speaking on the phone more often than with us. After complaining to customer service, agency was asked to comment, their statement was “tour delivered in full scope”. Avoid if you don’t want to get frustrated.
