Votre billet est réservé à l'avance : vous passez par la file express au lieu d'attendre au guichet, ce qui, un matin chargé, peut dépasser quarante minutes avant même d'atteindre le contrôle de sécurité.
Ce que vous obtenez
Billet d'entrée pour le Taj Mahal, accès coupe-file et toutes les taxes gouvernementales applicables. Un guide officiel agréé par l'ASI est disponible en option si finalement vous en voulez un, et cela mérite d'être considéré : le monument gagne beaucoup à être expliqué, et ce qui sépare le fait de se promener autour du Taj et celui de le comprendre, c'est en grande partie le guide.
Bon à savoir
Fermé tous les vendredis. Les autres jours, les portes ouvrent environ 30 minutes avant le lever du soleil et ferment 30 minutes avant le coucher.
La file express concerne les billets, pas la sécurité. Tout le monde passe par le contrôle, qui va vite en tout début de journée.
L'entrée pour les ressortissants étrangers est de 1 100 ₹. Les 200 ₹ supplémentaires pour accéder à la plate-forme du mausolée sont à part et valent la dépense.
Des surchaussures sont fournies. Trépieds, nourriture, tabac et grands sacs sont interdits.
La visite nocturne les soirs de pleine lune est un billet totalement différent, vendu uniquement au bureau de l'ASI 24 heures à l'avance et limité à 400 personnes.
