Le Taj se photographie mieux avec de la couleur devant lui, c'est un simple fait concernant un édifice de marbre blanc, et cette visite traite les vêtements comme une location plutôt que d'attendre de vous l'achat d'un sari que vous ne remettrez jamais.

Votre guide vous emmène d'abord dans une boutique locale, où vous choisissez parmi des saris et des kurta-pyjamas. La location est peu chère ; l'achat reste possible si quelque chose vous plaît vraiment.

Pour l'enfiler

La boutique drapera le sari pour vous, ce qui est nécessaire : un sari, ce sont six mètres de tissu non cousu, et personne n'y arrive seul la première fois. Comptez vingt minutes.

Le kurta-pyjama pour les hommes est plus simple et, honnêtement, tout aussi efficace en photo.

Ce qui rend bien en photo

Des couleurs franches et saturées. Le rouge, le rose profond, la moutarde, le bleu roi et l'émeraude ressortent tous magnifiquement sur le marbre blanc ; le blanc, la crème et le gris pâle s'y effacent. Les miroirs et le zari accrochent le soleil bas.

Les cadrages où votre guide vous placera : le banc de Diana sur l'axe central, le reflet dans le long canal, les arcs de la porte Darwaza-i-Rauza où le grès rouge met le marbre en valeur, et la colonnade de la mosquée côté ouest.

Le lever du soleil, c'est la lumière et l'axe désert ; la fin d'après-midi est plus chaude et la foule s'éclaircit.

Le Taj lui-même

Votre guide couvre l'histoire au fil de la visite : Shah Jahan l'a commencé en 1632 après la mort de Mumtaz Mahal en donnant naissance à leur quatorzième enfant ; la calligraphie gravée en tailles croissantes pour se lire d'une hauteur égale depuis le sol ; la pietra dura avec des dizaines de pierres par fleur ; et les quatre minarets inclinés vers l'extérieur pour qu'un séisme les fasse tomber loin du tombeau.

Toutes les explications sont fournies . J’ai pris l’option avec Sari , ces derniers sont simples mais quelques choix de couleurs. Le guide a été très patient a pris plusieurs belles photos . Visite de boutiques à la fin .
