Ce que vous voyez
Le Taj Mahal au lever du soleil. Vous quittez Delhi de nuit pour être à la porte à l'ouverture. La première heure compte une fraction de la foule, et le marbre change vraiment de couleur quand la lumière arrive.
Le fort d'Agra, grès rouge à l'extérieur et marbre à l'intérieur, où le Diwan-i-Am, le palais de Jahangir et le Musamman Burj se suivent sur un même parcours. Shah Jahan a été retenu dans cette tour par son fils, le regard tourné vers le Taj de l'autre côté de la rivière.
Itimad-ud-Daulah, le Baby Taj, bâti par Nur Jahan pour son père deux décennies avant le Taj. C'est le premier édifice moghol entièrement revêtu de marbre blanc avec des incrustations, assez petit pour être examiné de près, et en général presque vide.

Les matins d'hiver amènent un brouillard de rivière qui peut cacher le dôme la première heure avant de se lever.
Le Baby Taj se trouve de l'autre côté de la Yamuna par rapport aux deux autres : l'itinéraire est donc pensé en fonction de la lumière plutôt que de la distance.
