Passez deux jours à explorer les sites de Varanasi, sans vous soucier de vous perdre dans ses ruelles sinueuses, lors de cette visite privée de la ville. Découvrez les traditions hindoues à travers des visites de temples et des ghats de la rivière Gange, regardez les tisserands de soie en action, et faites un voyage à Sarnath, l'un des sites de pèlerinage bouddhistes les plus importants au monde.

Jour 1 :

Tôt le matin, rencontrez votre chauffeur à votre lieu à Agra et dirigez-vous vers la gare d'Agra Cantt. Montez à bord de votre train superrapide Vande Bharat en classe exécutive et détendez-vous en profitant de la belle vue avec le petit-déjeuner. À l'arrivée, votre chauffeur vous montrera une pancarte pour que vous puissiez facilement le trouver et vous dirigera vers votre hôtel.

Après l'enregistrement, prenez un peu de repos et rencontrez votre chauffeur et guide touristique dans le hall de l'hôtel. Dirigez-vous vers Sarnath, où le Seigneur Bouddha a prononcé son premier sermon. Ceci est connu dans le monde bouddhiste comme Dharma-Chakra Pravartana. Visitez le temple principal et voyez les fresques, suivi des ruines excavées et du musée (fermé le vendredi).

Profitez de la cérémonie du soir, l'Aarti, sur le Ghat, qui commence après le coucher du soleil. Marchez sur le ghat, en chantant des mantras, et en offrant des prières de fleurs dans la rivière sacrée du Gange. Retournez à votre hôtel pour la nuit.

Jour 2 :

Tôt le matin, soyez pris en charge à votre hôtel et visitez Subah-e-Banaras sur Assi Ghat. Promenez-vous dans les rues et profitez du lever du soleil ainsi que d'un trajet en bateau. Ensuite, retournez à votre hôtel pour le petit-déjeuner.

Dans l'après-midi, quittez votre hôtel et explorez la ville. Après avoir terminé la visite matinale, votre guide vous emmènera voir le terrain de crémation, un site très ancien et sacré, car la boucle d'oreille de Parvati serait tombée dans le bassin ici. La tradition des crémations hindoues ici est relativement récente, remontant peut-être au XVIIIe siècle.

Après avoir exploré la ville de Varanasi, roulez vers la gare de Varanasi. Montez à bord de votre train superrapide Vande Bharat à 15h00 de Varanasi à Agra ou de Varanasi à Delhi. Détendez-vous et profitez de votre trajet en train indien avec le dîner. À l'arrivée, votre chauffeur vous rencontrera à la gare et vous déposera à votre lieu.
