Mumbai to the Taj, privately, in a day.
Flights both ways, a private car rather than a coach, and a guide who is yours alone. Fifteen hours door to door, which is long, but it removes the hotel, the second day of leave and the shared-group compromise all at once.
How the day runs
Pickup in Mumbai for the morning flight to Delhi. A private air-conditioned car meets you and runs the Yamuna Expressway down to Agra, about three hours each way. Your guide covers the Taj Mahal at a proper pace, and Agra Fort as the schedule allows. Then back to Delhi for the evening flight, and home.
Because the car and guide are private, the timings flex around your flights rather than around a group.
