Everyone takes pictures at the Taj. Almost nobody comes home with a good one of themselves in it, because the person holding the camera is a stranger you asked, the light is difficult, and the best angles are not the obvious ones.
This tour puts a working photographer with you for the visit alongside a licensed guide. You get 30 finished images, hard and soft copies, shot at the spots that actually work: the framed dome from the Great Gate, the reflection down the length of the pool, the bench, the side gardens where there is almost no one, and the detail shots of the inlay that make a good album rather than a good postcard.
How it runs
Pickup within Agra, then the Taj with both guide and photographer. The guide handles the history and the site, the photographer handles the images, and you are not trying to do both at once. Photographs are delivered as prints and digital files.

The Taj is closed on Fridays.
Sunrise is the best light by a wide margin, and also the emptiest frames. Early is worth the alarm.

Tripods are banned inside the complex, so the photographer works handheld. This is normal and does not affect the results.
