What an incredible day combining the Taj Mahal with Mathura and Vrindavan. Starting at the Taj was spectacular as always but the real surprise was Vrindavan. The Krishna temples there are absolutley stunning, especially the Banke Bihari Temple where the energy of the devotees was infectious. In Mathura we visited the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple where Lord Krishna was born. Our guide explained the Hindu mythology so well. The private car made the whole day comfortable.

This was one of the best tours we did in India. The Taj Mahal in the morning was beautiful, but the spiritual atmosphere of Mathura and Vrindavan was something else entirely. Walking along the ghats in Mathura and seeing the evening aarti ceremony was deeply moving. In Vrindavan the colourful Holi decorations were everywhere, the guide told us about how Holi celebrations here are famous worldwide. Definately reccomend this combo tour.

Good combination of history and spirituality in one day. The Taj Mahal portion was lovely as expected. Mathura was fascinating, the birthplace of Lord Krishna has such a special energy. Vrindavan temples were colourful and vibrant. The drive between the cities was about an hour each way which was fine in the private car. Only complaint is that it was a very long day, we started at 6am and got back around 8pm.

The Mathura and Vrindavan extension after the Taj Mahal was a highlight of our entire India trip. The contrast between the Islamic Mughal architecture of the Taj and the Hindu temples of Vrindavan was facinating. Our guide was knowledgable about both traditions. The ISKCON temple in Vrindavan was beautiful and very peaceful. I loved walking through the narrow lanes of Mathura seeing the local life. The private guided tour format made everything seamless.

Brilliant day trip from Agra. We did the Taj Mahal first thing in the morning then headed to Mathura and Vrindavan. The Krishna temples in Vrindavan are so colourful and lively compared to other religious sites. At the Yamuna ghats in Mathura we saw priests performing rituals and it felt very authentic and untouristy. The guide knew the back routes to avoid traffic and had great relationships with the temple priests. Would completley reccomend this over just doing Agra alone.
