We had a wonderful tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Our guide Cozi Khan provided lots of information and helped us navigate the queues very quickly. Would 100% recommend
Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were amazing and truly must-see in India. We do not regret the trip itself. Cozi was knowledgeable, helped manage street sellers, offered to take photos and did not rush us. The lunch was a good buffet at a reputable hotel. However, several practical aspects were disappointing. The car was not an SUV but a very small sedan with limited legroom and weak engine; the passenger behind the driver had almost no space. The driver made multiple long phone calls and also stopped to pick up an item that created constant noise on the bumpy road. No water was offered at any point, despite being included, so we had to buy our own. We also had to pay for a tuktuk (100 INR) and a golf cart (50 INR) related to Taj Mahal transport, which was not disclosed. Despite asking to go directly to lunch, the guide insisted on stopping at a marble shop where staff actively tried to persuade us to buy items. Summary: good guiding, but poor practical arrangements
Driver was on time and got us to the Taj in great time. He needed to make many stops on the return trip to Jaipur which was a little strange. The time we were at the Taj with my guide felt really rushed. I am not sure if that’s because they wanted to rush me along to shops where they were hoping I would buy things from their pals but it certainly felt like it. I am really glad I got to see the Taj and the Agra Fort but the salesmanship part of the trip I was not interested in.
